Title: When is this amazing DOGGY Dogg freestyle from??
Post by: teecee on August 15, 2002, 03:53:50 PM
It starts with a dog growling, it has the Bitches Ain't Shit beat, and Kurupt drops a verse after three Snoop verses.  Daz & Kurupt do a "like this, like that, like this" chorus, and it also says "The Shiznit)......

THe reason i ask is because i notice Warren G used this freestyle to sample Snoop for quite a few songs.

"I be mobbin like a muthafucka every single day/makin funky shit with my nigga Dr.dre/ niggaz who talk shit get put on they back/

- on the chorus of Definition of  a THug Nigga by Pac, the chorus has Snoop, "What u doin......mo-mo-mobbin like a muthafucka"

Dfc- THingz n tha Hood-  Warren samples "Niggaz who talk shit get put on they back" for the chorus

"As i dash with the homies from the dub/we high through the sky gettin love"-   warren samples this for the Chorus to SO Many Ways off his debut....

I think it is dope how Warren used to always use Snoop samples, prolly cuz Snoop wasn't allowed to appear on his albums.  It is pretty crazy that Warren sampled this freestyle 3 different times, but this freestyle is incredible.

DOes anyone have this with a full verse by Kurupt at the end, mine is cut off.......

I think you are talking about the "Freestyle Remix" on the b-side of the Nuthin' But a "G" Thang 12" although I thought Kurupt finished his rhyme and they faded out on Daz...

^^^The only way Nate and Warren could do Regulate was for Warren to put it on Above the Rim. Maybe Death Row wouldn't clear Snoop to be on Warren's record.

Maybe because Suge wanted Warren to sign with DR... plus, you didn't really see many DR-features on other labels releases back then.
