I think he's putting out the SAS joint next. They performed a song off of it at the HOB concert on Sunday. Jelly Roll was on the hook and I found it to be pretty wack. So did most of the crowd because nobody was getting into it except the people on stage lol.

i dont know hopefully the S.A.S album, love the mixtapes, but my girl's Manager at "Anchor Blue" in the mall, and the store is promoting the "Pimo My Ride DVD" and that fool will be appearing at some stores around here for the promo...pretty crazy, never thought he ould be doing that type of shyt when i heard "40 Dayz 40 Nights', "At The Speed Life"...for the first time

He should work with Dr.Dre, Alchemist, DJ Premier, Thayod, E-Motherfucking Swift and Sir Jinx, maybe a lil Rockwilder or Khalil.
Throw Rick Rock, Jellyroll, Denaun and Hi-Tek out of the window, he doesn't fit their beats. He doesn't fit Timbaland beats either.

I say be his own man, and put out SAS, but I think have Ras Kass with him. He needs producers that fit his style, and SAS needs to be his D-12, his Outlawz, Jr. M.A.F.I.A. or any other crew you want to say. I think if he ever wants to say King of LA on another track again, he needs to build his career and his boss status to that of Snoop. Snoop has his Pound, he gots his team of producers and works with outside producers that are known like Neptunes. X needs a great team, and he needs to build a crew around him that will come tight.

Imo the best thing he could do is sign with Aftermath and be one of the biggest guests on Detox. I can't see him signing with the Math yet though. I'd love to see him release an album with Dr. Dre though.
Most likely, he'll just get SAS out there for now, though they won't even sell 150k... Next thing X will do, is make some movies and release a comeback album in 2007, only to come to the conclusion he's not all that popular anymore...

I think he CAN put out some top selling shit, but as I said, he'll need people like Dre for that. The direction he's going now, he will end up just like Coolio.

X does need new producers and at the same time he needs to get in touch with his early beginnings. In terms of dropping the tough guy shit and goin back to West Coast MC'n. I DO NOT think that he needs Dre to sell. Dre broadened his audience and he failed to use that to his advantage with this new album he has. However, there are SO many producers out here from the Bay to L.A. that can help him get it all back.

DJ Quik, Alchimest, Battlecat etc...My point is that he does not need Dre neccessarily at this point. He needs a better sound aka production. If WMD has better beats and it was like his first two albums this thread would not exist. Jay Z and I give him credit for this was notorious for looking for and using unknown producers at times for his albums(as well as known). Example Kanye/Just Blaze/Neptunes.
