Title: I might be going out on a limb here, but...
Post by: GangstaBoogy on March 23, 2005, 08:39:05 PM
...Ali Vegas just might be the greatest rapper of all time. "Rumble", "Victory 04", "Industry Talkin", "Problems", "If I", etc etc etc were all way above average rap tracks. His voice is tight, flow is on point, and his delivery is crazy. I havent heard too many serious tracks from him (mainly just battle raps) but reguardless, the dude is nice!

Oh yeah, he's on the same label as Hilary Duff (Casablanca Ent) so if Tommy Matola promotes him right he just might blow up

Ali Vegas is good, but I wouldn't go as far as to call him the best of all time

I'm guessing that if you describe him as having above average tracks then he probably isn't the greatest rapper of all time.

Big props for postin' up the mixtape Baby_G. I've only heard him on Saigon's "Warning Shots" on the track "We Want In" and I was instantly hooked. On a side note; did he used to be in Cassidy's group Larsiny?

Hey, I remember in 1996, we all were like, maybe we are going on a limb, but we think 2Pac is the best rapper ever. Then others would be like, ya' right, his not the best. 3 years later, everyone was calling him the GOAT.

I haven't heard the kid myself, but I'm not going to say shit, 'cause in 1995 when Dear Mama came out and I was in tears, the only rap song to put me in tears, I declaired 2Pac the GOAT IMO, and now look. So I am not doubting someone I haven't heard. Now if I hear him, and he is basically another Benzino, or Tim Dog then I'll have an issue.
