Title: iPod help...someone anyone help!!!!!!!!!

when I plug my iPod up to teh USB firewire and plug it to my comp to update it doesnt read on my comp.  I plug it up and there is no iPod in My Computer or on iTunes...anyone know wassup?

Restart And Try Again, or go to your control panel, click system, then device manager and make sure the port is enabled

drop the ipod a few times and try again

Hmmm.....It is probably most likely your computer because i dont know why it wouldnt be able to read it unless u had a crappy computer.

Your iPod could be fucked.  The iPod will just stop working one day, there is nothing you can do.

nah  I fifgured a way to get it to recognize tho.

I have to let it die completley then charge it for about 5 minutes or so so it stays on then I plug it to the comp and it works  until I charge it up again.

^ Make sure you are running the latest version of iTunes and that the iPod has the latest software update.  You can find any updates at www.apple.com or by going to the "Help" menu in iTunes and have it look for the update.

Hope you get it working back to normal.
