Title: ras kass, xzibit, strong arm steady show in atlanta cancelled
Post by: nibs on March 27, 2005, 12:17:17 AM: cats was supposed to do a show saturday night at the roxy. nobody showed up to support them, they had maybe 60-70 people there. the show ended up getting cancelled.

cats just don't appreciate the west like they should around here.

in contrast, when dre and snoop did the 2001 tour that shit was packed down at the lakewood amphitheater; probably 40% black 60% other.

snoop did the puff puff pass tour with the eastsidaz, dpg, tha liks...etc that shit sold out and was like 85% black 15% other

this turnout was up around 75% blackand they didn't come close to having a packed house.

the demographics are interesting to me because with the dre snoop shit that appeal was huge and extended way past the core. with snoop and the eastsidaz the appeal was still huge but that's with the core audience. enough to sell out the lakewood venue. apparently xzibit doesn't have enough appeal even with the core audience to headline a show in atl at the roxy.

i just live in atlanta, in the chamblee/doraville area. so technically not atlanta.

thats pathetic. hes on your TV everyday. His music sucks ass, thats why nobody cares. His platinum days from 5 yrs ago are long gone.
