Does anyone know what 2Pac ment when he said that? And was that before/during/after the beef?
-
hes referring to his track "If i ruled the world" , and im assuming it would be after "IT was written" was released. so during the beef, prob at the same time he was addressing the all eyez on me/ street dreams issue...
-
Who's world is this?
The world is yours...
the world is yours...
-
o yeah shit. could be either one. but i dont think 2pac and nas started having beef until the whole all eyez on me/street dreams shit started happening.
-
Well he said "NO OFFENCE TO NAS BUT..." ;)

Well he said "NO OFFENCE TO NAS BUT..." ;)
exactly....just the fact that he started the sentence "no offence to nas...." suggests that it was after the beef which means that the track was laid shortly before his death....

Pac didn't like Nas because Nas copied his style and tried to be like Pac. thats what i heard on Bomb First
-
thats a good question.....

Could that line be before the beef. Because 2Pac didn't beef with Nas until the summer of 1996, which was a few months before he died. That left little time actually in his life that he was living and beefing with Nas. I love how people assume that the summer of 1996 was all of 2Pac's life. It was just the high of it, and actually it was rising even then, He didn't even reach his peak when he died.
I would imagion that line was before the beef, and the Nas song was released in 1994, so from 1994-summer of 1996 there was no 'Pac/Nas beefso I'd imagion it was during that time.

the line originated from scarface the movie. tupac was just lettinn nas know what time it was
