Guys like Pistol Pete & Pappi Mason are NY street legends as far as I know. Nas mentions them in "Get Down" too...

AZ is not only a rapper, there was a drug pusher in Harlem who went by that name. He, along with Rich Porter and Alpo more or less had control over the Harlem crack market in the mid- and late 80´s...i dunno what exactly all their relationships were like, but Alpo is still alive, but in jail and responsible for the assassination of Rich Porter. AZ´s alive too.
Fat Cat and Pappy are italians, which also used to push crack. I think their teritorry was Queens and Fat Cat was Pappy´s boss. There´s this story of Fat Cat getting arrested and ordering Pappy to kill some random cop as a message...after that several mafiosi, including these two, got convicted
i don´t really know about Pistol Pete
-
thanx
keep the info coming pplz
-
i know there was a pistol pete in the nba during the 70s
-
"wait for Alpo to come home, like AZ from Harlem"
yeah i was wondering which AZ he was talkin about
-
Who knows?

Pappy Mason was a crazy gangster from Queens who used to be down with the Supreme team before it faded away.
AZ was from Harlem and he was also big on the druh tip be he never got locked up and if y´all seen that Roc-A-Fella movie with Cam´ron and Mekhi Phifer tnen y´all know what´s up. don´t remember what the movie is called tho.
Pistol Pete well there´s several Pistol Pete´s but the most notorious 1 is from the BX and he´s currently serving a life sentence for murder. then there´s another Pistol Pete from the BX that is down with Fat Joe and that PP done served 19 years in the feds.
Alpo was the guy down with AZ and Ricky but he turned straight snitched when he got arressted.
Prince Miller was the other crazy killer in the Supreme Team and he´s also Supreme´s cousin.
if you wanna know more about these cats just do a google or altavista search and you´ll get up some more info.

you got the Pappy and Fat Cat shit fucked up. it was actually Pappy that ordered the murders of the cops and last time i checked both of them was black. when the NY Times had 50 Cent next to them in the paper they was all black.................but it should be said that they actually pushed dope for the mafia coz i saw some shit about some well known gangsters on some program on Discovery and they brought this shit up.

possibly, sorry then. i know i got that italo shit from somewhere, but maybe somebody already had it mixed up, cause they used to work with the mafia. Fat Cat was Pappy´s boss however, that´s what i know, but since pappy ran a gang himself the order might have as well come from him, true.

and it should be added that Fat Cat is one of the most well known snitches in NY and he´s in the witness protection program coz he testified against Pap and several members of the Supreme Team and i think he also testified against some members of Murder Inc(the gang not the label).
