Title: Xzibit = Westcoast Version Of Method Man
Post by: Suga Foot on April 04, 2005, 09:09:51 AM: this comparison just kinda popped into my head. It seems like both artists get a lot of support within the industry (both host events, tv shows, movies ect), and everyone knows who they are, people outside of Hip Hop like em, but neither seem to sell any records. It's not even that they make bad records, just nobody buys them. It's weird to me.

It's funny, they're both charasmatic enough to succeed outside of making records (Pimp My Ride etc) but that love never crosses back over to their CDs. Guess it's the machine... ???

If you look at other labels/artists (aftermath for example) they are all over the media when they are droppin a cd.
