man i'm stuck on choosing a career... i'm 1/2 done with a degree in Computer Science but i have offers of becoming a State Trooper or doing Communications on a civilian ship...here's some of the pros and cons
State Trooper:
Pros:
$55,000 starting out, $75,000 after 2 years
Retire in 20 years
Located somewhere in NY state
can stay in reserves and get bonus pay..collect two retirement checks in 20 years
Cons:
6 months in tooper training
uniform
located somewhere in NY state
Remembering laws
Strict rules of conduct
Communications:
Pros:
at least $60,000 starting out
Work 6 months paid 3 months vacation
Federal job... Good benifits, retire after 20 years
Travel
I've already done this job
Cons:
Travel
Leave the reserves
busy during war time
or i can always rough out college and see if i can get a job with my degree
decisions, decisions... ???

I would say first or second lmao!
-
go with the state trooper
-
If it was me, I would take the State Trooper job. Yes, it requires memorization and 6 months of training, but at least it doesn't reqiure so much travel and you can have a steady life. Plus, chicks get wet over uniforms.
But if ya like travel, then do the communications thing.

haha...^^true.....whats the difference tho pussy is pussy, wether you get it from your girl, a bitch you met at a party/club, or from your next door neighbor
And if i was gonna pick a career out of those two i would pick either but i would only work in that shit for a few years.....enough time to save up some cash and start a business or somethin

I'd go with communications

well i was thinking i'd like to design games... and this guy i've talked to that is a VP of a game company said that if you don't go to a school that specializes in gaming...then to get a degree in computer science...it's the next best thing
but i don't know if i really want to design videogames anymore... programming is easy but i just don't think i could sit around looking and making code for 12 hours a day... i wouldn't mind getting into more of the designing part...story, plot or character design, but i think that i would have to switch my major up
anyways i'm leaning more toward the communications thing lately, i just don't see myself having to be a dick to people when i speed alot...hell i even blow about 10% of the red lights i come across... i'm still thinking about trying out for it just in case...it would be something nice to fall back on
