he says Aftermath Production so maybe that´s a seperate comapny coz the label is called Aftermath Entertainment.
-
Pump Pump is a great song.

I think it only means hes getting beats from Dre and Focus, but if he IS signed, it looks like Dre is building a new west coast roster...hopefully.

Sometimes you might hear me say "Malik Fresh, MD." That’s because I’m dealing with Mannie Fresh and I’m dealing with Dr. Dre. Dr. Dre will produce my Aftermath record with Focus. They kind of rebuilt me along with everything else I was doing.
Q: Are you working with Aftermath right now?
A: Yeah, right now we’re at Aftermath Production.
I used to live with Dre. Lil Wayne is the Birdman, Jr. I’m the D.I. Junior. I’m Malik, MD. And being that I got Mannie Fresh, That’s like my brother from another mother. I’m going to be Fresh, MD when I AK it out. But Dre told me what to do and that’s what I’m doing. I’m starting my own thing. I know how Dre moves and I know how he works. So when I get ready to go back there I’m going to be settled, and able to just sit back and create, and run my company and my other little ventures. I’m just doing everything I want to do before I go back there. But trust me, by me getting the production from Focus, he got some stuff on everything Dre’s doing, they know where my heart is and where I’m going to end up at. And I know. It’s like a love and hate relationship. Because it’s like I can’t be over there. It’s just too soon because it’s the place to be right now. I got to go against the grain a little bit. Be a little mannish. So they’ll respect more than just a rapper

Yall need to read the whole article instead of just reading certain sections, Go to http://www.murderdog.com/april05/malik/malik.html he said that Dre will produce his Aftermath record. So read the whole shit and u get your anwser, he basicly saying he signed to Aftermath. Go the section when they ask him U were called Malik before

your retarded

i understand there is a west coast bias involved here, but seriously, its malik. jamal was the better of the two, and where is he now? at least we got one good album out of him - thanks to some mike dean production, but malik is a mediocre rapper at best, who was fortunate to have connections.
-
Wow he's still alive? I havent heard nathan from him since that song him and warren g had on the nutty professor soundtrack
-
he didn't explain why he dissed em in the interview. i skimmed the shit but didn't see any explanation
-
he dissed em?
-
frooty loops beat hahah
mannie fresh is coo

i have my doubts about him 'finding' Eminem.. i've read it in a few books/interviews that Em threw the tape @ Jimmy Iovine cause he was pissed off he lost.. and that 'my name is' is the second track Em did with Dre, the first being 'till hell freezes over', thats all written in the angry blonde book and one of his early interviews

sounds like gonna get a hershey loc cd...now I just need a mista grimm cd and I am set :)
