i like these two.

but there's almost an endless supply of b-list hood flicks about spring break and shit like that with regular street humor and bitches in bikini's and shit. after "friday" it seems like everyone thinks they can make a movie.

and oh yeah,
"malibu's most wanted".
scary movie 1, 3 & 2. in that order.
"rat race" i think falls in that category.
maybe:
woo
sprung

and really, any movie with any combination of brian hooks, e-40, michael epps, regina hall & shawn or marlon wayans...is probably going to fall into this category.

i believe that the popularity of this genre is rooted in the fact that the movies can be insanely cheap. pretty much any athlete can say "let's do a hood comedy based around my house, my cars, my pool, bitches in bikinis and broke ass muthaphuckaz" and that's the basis of the script right there.
