What made you decide to join forces with Suge Knight?
It's always been a dream of mine. Ever since Pac died, I just felt if i was over here I could keep the torch burning. It aint where a man is born and raised. Pac wasnt a West Coast individual. But Death Row was in its heyday when he was here. All the fans are concerned with is good ass music and thats what im doing.
When did you and Suge start talking about working together?
I met Suge when I was doing my first album in L.A. He just told me that the doors were always open to me. Every man got his own destiny, so i had to see what i really wanted to do. God had alreadyput me in a position...so i did what i was made to do.
Are you now officially on The Row?
We still working through that situation. I dont have no problem with Jive. (They) were very good to me. But its the immature, unprofessional individuals that they had working for this amazing company that didnt know what they were doing with me. I think we got like three more months (before the new album drops) The first single is gonna be called "Enormous".
Death Row already has artist waiting to drop albums. How do they feel about you hopping on board?
Everything has been good with KURUPT and everybody here. Me and Kurupt had a conversation and he was like,"You know what?! I really dint havethe motivation that i needed or i didnt have the right workout partner before." Its good to have a team. Since I came here, everybody has just stepped their game up 100 percent.
Are you ready to take on all that comes with being stranded on Tha Row?
Yeah, but fans dont wanna hear all your dirty laundry. Its good every now and then, but still in all we trying to hear music. I cant dance in the club if out talking about a mutherfucka all through the fucking record. Put out a mixtape or something. You killing it. It's going to be just like it was back in the days. They gonna ban this shit. And everybody thats trying to eat from it is going to lose out.

Death Row is probably finished. With Kurropt leaving and that lawsuit judgement, I dont see how they can release anything. I'm not a lawyer, but I believe a big judgement like that affects your ability to do anything in the business until you pay or something. Anyone really know???

First of all, we don't know if Kurupt has left tha row and second of all petey hasn't signed on yet, he's still with Jive. Suge has took on a managerial position with him.

The only thing I could see happening from this is Death Row will turn soft. After all these years, Suge will be promoting shit like Freek-A-Leek and Goodies.

So..when's the last time Death Row released an album that wasn't a compiliation album or something from Snoop/Dogg Pound/2Pac after they left Death Row or died? Been about 7 years hasn't it?
