IMO, Bone Thugs is the best rap group of all time.  their albums are straight classic and now they will be working with swizz beats and dre on their new album to hopefully make one last classic.  what do you guys think of them?

How about Krayzie Bone's Thug Mentality 1999? It's a pretty solid double album. Thing is, I don't throw around the word "classic" like some people do, but I'm sure there's some people around here who consider that a classic album. Besides, what classic album has Ren got out?

BTNH are well overrated imo. Yup, I damn sure loved most of what they did, and I still love it, but come on... Best rap group ever? Please...

this is really a topic that confirms how good a decision it was to put Shallow´s quote in my sig ::)

Mc-wise they´re not a bad group, but not that amazing except for flow sometimes and in terms of classic or at least very solid albums, i don´t see em on top either. Eg, as a group (i´m not counting duos), I´d put The Roots above em any day. I like J5 better, Geto Boys, NWA, De La Soul, Cypress Hill and the mighty Wu-Tang, they are all examples of >> BTNH for me, and there sure are more

^^d-12 is not better than bone, cant touch their skills in any way ...as far as the best, the quote about music being subjective answers that one... they are one of my favorites but you cant just say flat-out that they are the best when so many groups have become legends themselves

Don't get me wrong I love BNTH and without a doubt e.1999 is a classic, but best rap group HELL NO! Anyday I would put nwa, dogg pound, cypress hill, wutang, de la soul, gangstarr, tribe called quest, and outkast over them. That's a lot of competition for BNTH to handle.

that's fo' sho' BNTH are the best rap group, maybe not ever but they're really really good, they came up with originality and they keep it that way, Bizzy, Krayzie they did GREAT albums solo, but the group albums are awsome...and any fagg that doesn't believe that should keep his mouth shut.

As individals, Bone is not that great for with the exception of Krayzie or Bizzy. But as a group knowone can tuch them IMO. As a group they all rap togther with harmony and the results are incrediable. The Wu-Tang or NWA are probably better rappers but they dont rap as a group. Thats how I see it...
