Space Boggie seems more commercial but for me the beats on Streets iz a mutha are WACK as fuck. I just felt Space Boggie was overall a better album even though everyone seems to think Streetz iz a Mutha is Kurupts better. There are tracks on Streetz iz a mutha were Kurupt spits some serious lyrical shit but the beats are weak as fuck
Plus that track that Quik laced on Spaced Boggie with the trupet solo in the hook is too nice
-
I agree on Space Boogie > Streetz Iz A Mutha
but I wouldn't call anything on Streetz Iz A Mutha wack
-
never heard much of space boogie, but streetz is deadly and most of the beats are tight
-
I disagree
Streetz is a Mutha is a classic to me, Space Boogie is decent that's it.
Also, that's a saxophone on Can't Go Wrong, not a trumpet on the hook.
-
^^ check out Kurupt - Space Boogie (Produced By Fredwreck) its my favourite kurupt song, of the album space boogie. He rips shit up in that :D
space boogie was his best abum for sure
-
lol streetz is way better
-
Wow this is the first time i hear anybody say that
This is funnyy
To me Space Boogie doesn't even come CLOSE to streetz. streetz is a CLASSIC. space boogie is GOOD.
lyriically, kurupt fell off HARD between the two albums. guest spot wise, it was weaker too. and beat wise i'd say pretty equal.

i agree with nima here and LMAO @ calling the sax a trumpet
-
I'm gonna go with Streetz Iz A Mutha. Space Boogie is an excellent album as well, but I think that Streetz Iz A Mutha has more classics on it. But, you really can't fuck with On Onsite, Can't Go Wrong, and Space Boogie :D
-
I cant beleive anyone thinks space boogie is better than the streetz , fuck .
Streetz is consistant as fuck , even the skitz are ok , but damn , space boogie , i only enjoyed like about 5 cuts on there , the rest is garbage
-
personally i like space boogy much better cause of the "commericial" sound, i dont know why he didnt blow up
but street is a mutha is tight shit too but i guess i played it out
-
those 2 are his best albums
-
Streetz is waaaaay better in every conceivable way. Beatswise, lyric wise, feature wise. Just look at the two first singles -- Girlz All Pause is a much, much better song than that horrible pop song with Natina. I can't even see a comparison.
But, both are better than Kuruption, which was just a turd.
-
i like space boggie a bit more. the dopest song on Space Boggie is "on, onsite" that song is tight and the beat is incredible
-
lol at some1 saying kuruption was garbage
but anyway both albums are great but i would have to go with streetz
-
fredwreck basically used an ohio players song for on onsite, i forget the name of it.
-
streets is better....
-
"On on site", and "space boogie" make the album space boogie the best.
-
Neither is a classic to me. Streetz was just too long IMO - I hate these 20-odd track albums. Fuck Master P for starting that shit.
-
Space Boogie was dope but Streetz IZ A Mutha was classic.
18 traccs aint long when every one is sick 8)

maybe... to be honest I can't point my finger to any specific track that I don't like. I just always feel like it's dragging on by the end if I listen to it all at once. Maybe it's because it's 18 tracks with no skits or short tracks...

ya get ya moneys worth wit every Kurupt album imo, an album filled with skits aint great, the less the better. The skit at the end of Who Ride Wit Us is funny as hell
goddamnit i smoked the TV
-
LMAO Streetz iz a mutha is a classic
-
Tha Streetz Iz A Mutha was way better, but Space Boogie was tight too, i luv "Can't Go Wrong" one of my favorite Kurupt songs...
-
"Its Over" shits on _anything_ on Streetz!!!
Sike!!!!!!!!!!! :D
-
naw streets is better... I dont think Space boogy is bad tho.. both are >>>> than Kuruption
-
yup..
Kuruption was shit... We Can Freak It was kinda nice.. aint much else worth shit really... some tracks were waaaay too damn long..
Streetz was a good solid album
Space Boogie is somewhere inbetween the two... closer to Streetz than Kuruption, but nowhere near the level of Streetz..
even the "against the grain" bootleg CD is better than Kuruption.. and comparing that to Space Boogie.. aint much in it!
Like Nima already said.. this comparison has never been made before...
IMO people overrrate Streetz.. its not _that_ amazing.. but its a good solid 3,5 or 4 mic album...
Kuruption 2.5 mics
Streetz 3.75 mics
Space Boogie 3.5 mics
ATG bootleg thingy - 3 mics
-
I 4t Kuruption was crazy as hell, especially the West Coast CD-production, lyrics on point. had some heaters
We Can Freak It
Fresh
C-Walk
Ho's A Housewife OG
That's Gangsta
Survive Another Day
Ask Yourself A Question
-
lmao at this thread, thats all Im gonna say.

couldnt have put it better.
-
kuruption was tyte but streets is a mutha was the best kurupt album imo
pzz
-
i haven't heard much from space boogie but i'll be surprised if it even fucks with streetz, that album is fire, and to whoever said kuruption is wack needs to relisten to that album, it's pretty dope, peace.
-
there is no mos def dope songs on Streetz but not even CLOSE to being a classic
-
what the fuck? space boogie only had 3 good tracks, cant go wrong, on,onsite, and space boogie. the rest of the album was crap. the guest appearances were lame, i don't even remember most of the tracks except for the 3 i named
tha streetz shits on every kurupt album he's put out so far, with tracks like calling out names, ride wit us, represent dat g.c., girls all pause, trylogy, i call shots, no tracks from space boogie cant fuck with the tracks i just named, and if any do, just name em.
-
How can no one have mentioned 'The Hardest Muthafuckaz' and 'Bring back that G-Shit'? To me, those are the best on Space Boogie.
-
oh yeah tha hardest muthafuckas is a dope ass track, fredwreck laced them with a sick ass beat with nate on the hook, mc ren came hard too along with xzibit
