Title: Shock G - Fear of a Mixed Planet ........Album of the Year?

This shit is bonkers.

I bought the cd on Monday after listening to a few tracks I downloaded earlier and I'm blown away by this album. Every song is on point. It's something different, but in a good way. Man I'm going to have to check out Digital Underground's whole catalog now as the only other DU album I've listened to is "Sex Packets" and I heard that album 15 years ago.

I'll have to wait form Common, DJ Quik and Crooked I to drop but this album has left me speechless. Sooner or later I'll post a review on the review board. All I can say is that this album is easily 4.5 mics in my book.

Good album, not album of the year though. Cherry Flava'd Email is incredible.

^ yeah, that was my favourite track by far. The beat is amazing and the way it changes half way is cool.

the PRODUCTION on this album is incredible  :o... but his flow was so wack that it ruined the album for me, thats my opinion... i know shock g worked with pac and digital underground, so i respect what he does... but IN MY OPINION, his flow is terrible... maybe im the only one who thinks this??? besides most of the posts in this topics mention great beats, but no one is commenting on flow.... peace
