The Italian football federation’s disciplinary committee handed out heavy suspensions to Juventus star Ibrahimovic and Roma captain Francesco Totti.
The Swedish striker was slapped with a three match ban after television evidence was used to demonstrate he head-butted Inter defender Cordoba early on the in the Delle Alpi Clash.
If the ban stands he will miss the Scudetto showdown at San Siro against AC Milan.
Francesco Totti’s season is instead practically over as he will have to serve a five match suspension for punching and kicking Siena’s Colonnese in Roma’s loss to the Tuscan minnows.
Both Juventus and Roma are set to appeal the sentences.

Totti is an animal.
But Zlatan's ban is 101% a bitch move.
Cordoba kicked him, he replied pushing him down, and he got a 3 game ban and Cordoba nothing? wtf?
Plus the 3rd one will be against Milan??
Remember Milan's President is Silvio Berlusconi, and the Italian Serie A President is Milan's vice-President Adriano Galliani.
What a coincidence, uh?
>:(

Zlatan is known for being like that. Good penalty(http://www.dubcnn.com/connect/Themes/dubcc/images/post/thumbup.gif)

Zlatan is known for being like that.
I know, even tho' he never received a red card in Italy, but it's sad when he does nothing and prejudices are enought to ban him for 3 games! He really did nothing!! It's just a political move to let Milan face Juve without Ibrahimovic.

Hell yeah! We won an extremely important game without Zebina, Emerson, Appiah, Del Piero, Ibrahimovic & Trezeguet. I'm "pretty" happy, hell yeah!! 8)

del piero took an absolute flying knee to the lower back, looked agonising :o

Hardly huge bans, I was expecting you to say they had been banned for months or something.

lol Ibrahimovic did nothing for real..

Fuck Totti, i used to like the guy but after the spitting incedent i hate him. If he spat on me i would have kicked the living shit out of him. Spitting on someone (especially the face) is one of the most disrespectful things ever! Totti is a fuckin spoilt bastard

sorry to dissapoint man, i lifted the article from http:/www.goal.com (http://http:/www.goal.com),
think they mean it's 'huge' as in it will affect both teams performances dramatically at one of the most vital parts of the season.
it mite prove that without ibrahimovic juve just cant keep up with milan in the race for the title...

Mmm.. we won the first game without him. ;)
-
lol sorry antonio forgot u were a passionate juve fan!

who knows juve mite prove to be a better team without him, we'll soon c! 8)
forza inter!!!
peace.

Matter of fact we need him, man. We cant seriously think to win against Milan in 2 games without him. I hope they'll reduce the ban. It was a bitch move, trust me. Oh, and they banned Dainelli of Fiorentina too, for 2 games. Next one is against Milan. Another coincidence, uh?
-
that aint even funny man :o
-
I know. And Dainelli had a small fight with a Bologna player, Torrisi. Danielli was banned for 2 games, Torrisi for 0.
Next games are Fiorentina-Milan and Bologna-Juve.
Mmmmm..
-
lmao. i always thought decisions went against inter but thats scary man... :o
-
Ibrahimovic ban is confirmed. He'll miss Milan-Juventus. :'(
