Title: who only listens to west coast
Post by: budsmokeronly on August 01, 2002, 07:28:28 AM: Who pretty much only listens to west coast rap with a few exceptions. I pretty much do with these exceptions:

Bone thugs ( allthough I consider their music WC)
Scarface
Twista
Do or Die
Nas
Outkast ( Not too much anymore)
Devin

There are also certain songs I listen to by others but 90% of the rap I listen to is WC. Is their anyone else on this board that is like this?

Post by: Funkadelic on August 01, 2002, 11:53:43 PM: According to rap I'm only listening to music out of L.A. I've always been interested in the life in L.A and the city. That was the way how got in contact with the g-rap scene, because it's very typical for L.A and his music.

There are only a few songs from the eat, which I'm really feeling.

But I'm also listening to most of the old funk and latin music.

I even have mp3's of them. And I listen to other areas of rap as well but I don't buy too many of their albums. But when it all comes down to it I would rather listen to Doggystyle, or The Chronic, or Dogg Food, or All Eyez on me. If I could never listen to any music for the rest of my life except for west coast rap I would not feel like I am missing out. There are many west coast albums that I will never grow tired of. I can't say that about any other kind of music.
