i believe it was becuz snoop and the eastsidaz supposedly stole jayo felony's word for his music calling it " crip hop" and after that it went down the drain....

jayo was really immature in this situation though, he dissed them before the whole CRip Hop thing, i mean he was around Up In Smoke and shyt because of Snoop, thats it to perform "Got Beef" with Tha Eastsidaz, Dre didnt add him Snoop did, Jayo left to record "Hotter Than Fish Grease" and still recorded with Soopafly, Snoop, Battlecat, all at the time DPG affiliated...The beef really came to play when Jayo actually started preporation for his "Crip Hop" album when his Def Jam album was shelved, Jayo then dissed Jay-Z the situation blew because he gave a good punch, the beef started with Snoop and Tha Eastsidaz around the time "Duces and Trayz" was set to drop, thats when rumors of Jayo recording the song sending it to "The Source"m and "XXL" supposedly, but the song never came out around that time, so in XXL 9the one with Beans and Jigga on it) Jayo Felony dissed Daz and Kurupt for being on the "Change The Game Remix" betraying him and being ignorant with HIS BEEF With JAy-Z(daz spoke on the situation with him and jayo, which was blew out of porportion like several months later in a later in an interview, almost a year later) Jayo is dope and is def gonna come hard on his new shyt but he needs to stop the beef for real its wack and has not helped his career yet....

hey soopa-man why did jayo go at jay z in trued up? in the song he says that jay or beans claimed to be blood... when was jay-z "frontin"? ;D
i never remember him saying he banged but i have seen a pic with him n snoopy where jayz is throwin up an E for eastside l.b.

jayo went after jay-z becuz jayo felt that jay-z disrespected the west when he said somethin like wearin more chainz than the source award some shit like that i forgot on the song " change the game"

It was all over the content of Jay-Z's "New Gangsta Image" he was trying to portray at the time (im a fan and noticed aswell) It was all do to what he was saying on the album "The Dynasty" ("Streets Is Talking" "Is He A Blood Or A Crip?" referring to himself..."Wear More Bling To The Grammy's/And The Soul Train (Awards)/And These Niggas Still Wont Do A Thang"...These award shows are held on the West, Jayo took that as a diss to West Coast G's) Jay-Z also started throwing up that little fake gang sign up around this time aswell "The Rocafella" diamond, Jayo percieved this as him trying to be gangbanger...all this was covered in magazine interviews and the diss songs Jayo did himself...Jayo was correct but Jay-Z said in the XXL interview Jayo got his "Ass Beat In A trailer in L.A." "Hes Not even From L.A. hes from San Diego" and cats laughed at Jayo and basically took Jay-Z's word....jayo pulled the right card on the right person at the time, but Jayo felt betrayed by fellow West Coast artist when they didnt back him up, for it so he dissed Daz and Kurupt and Snoop for doing songs with him, he said that in the same magazine JAy-Z dissed him in, it was all a boiling point from there....

yall gotta understand Jayo's situation a lil more here. It wasnt just "oh he's mad cus someone stole his word". Its a rapper still on the come-up, basically at the time being pursued by a legend (snoop and him from what i believe were talking of Jayo hookin up with Dogghouse), then having that same legend steal a word from u. Its not just the word, it was gonna be the title of his upcoming album. Then, to have snoop throw it out there as the title of a Snoop/Eastsidaz song like he invented tha shit right before Jayo's album hit...is pretty grimey. Theres no way anyone could honestly think Snoop wouldnt have known what Jayo's album title was gonna be. If u read the inside cover to that Crip-Hop album Jayo's explains what some of his beefs were. He says that him and another member of Eastsidaz aproached Snoop about the order in which everone was performing. I went to the show down here in Daygo, and shit...Eastsidaz/Jayo performed before anybody even got into the Ampitheater. Either way, most of the shit Jayo was spittin was real shit about these fools. I wish he coulda done it in a more major way. I mean, how many people worldwide really heard tha Crip Hop CD? lol Too bad it hadda go down, i woulda loved to see more Dogg Pound/Eastsidaz/Jayo collabs. But oh well
