Check out my beats and drop some comments. I'm new to this stuff so, they prolly weak to yall. Check them out and get at me with some tips or feedback or somethin.

Ive only peeped out the last beat...the kicks are too soft. It's a very strange beat I dont digg it. The bells are too space, sounds like a template casio preset beat.

Ey man, doing also some beats myself.. (www.soundclick.com/bands/6/adjoomusic.htm) Some points of feedback:

-> Work on your drums, the kicks doesn't hit hard (try to compress or distort a little)
-> Try to EQ your sounds all a bit better, it does sound quite computer-made all of it
-> Most of your beats missed a cool bassline, that could change the world
-> Try to find also some better samples..

I feel ya got some potential in ya, the compositions and stuff are tight, but it can sound better..

thanks for all the feedback, but does anyone know where i can get some fruity loops sounds, or sounds for fruityloops, like some kicks and basslines and shit? im feeling a little boxed in with these default sounds.

as for fruity loops there are various places on tha web u can get some samples....

just try searchin for freedrumkits.....or with fruity loops samples as the topic


if u dont have any luck hit me up on AIM  slyky9601 and i might be able to drop u a couple kits....

BTW....try layering kicks...like using 2,3, even 4 different soundin kicks.....sometimes u can find a good combo and re use it
also....try messin with the pitch....raise the kick up or down like 2 or 3 notes.....that stock "kick" that sounds alot better if u lower the pitch a few notes...u can really hear the bass...try layerin though.....same with snares and claps and hi hats and all that shit

Alright, sounds like some good suggestions, good lookin out cuts. Imma do that shit up. I also added two clips of beat 30 and 31 I've been slowly workin on.

30 is a kinda serious beat

31 sounds like a bad version of game over by lil flip, but im just trying to get used to all the tools that come with fruity loops

get at them and then get at me with some comments. Thanks.

30's cool just doesnt sound like a rap beat but has a cool melody.....and beat 31 has potential...try changin that bell to a triangle or somethin else that has more sound sto it...or lower its pitch an octave or sumn......

and maybe on 31 try makin the notes a lil closer together on that one sound that comes in.....so its not so "gappy"

Yeah, on 31 I was just messin around with some of the stuff in Fruity Loops. I'll see what I can do on 30. I'm workin on another right now, pretty dope drum pattern but im stuck, I'll let ya'll listen and maybe you can give some suggestions about what to do with it.
