Title: MC Eiht - DJ Quik
Post by: DonCorleone on May 05, 2005, 02:47:14 AM: Can someone tell me all the diss songs they did ?? I've only heard Dollaz & Sense by Quiksta. And I don't even know If that's a like full out diss song but he gets at Eiht a lot. with that misspellled name !

It's a full out diss song alright - all three verses are about Eiht.

That track pretty much closed the fued. Eiht came back on 'Tap Dat Azz' off 'Death Threatz', but Quik did such a good job on 'Dollaz & Sense' that there was nothing Eiht could say to get points.

As I remember he tried to clown Quik for not writing his own rhymes - in the 'Murder Was The Case' booklet it says 'Dollaz & Sense' was written solely by G-1. ( but you know what Death Row was like for credits).

I know Quik talks the track down today cos he's left that gangbanger mentality behind, but 'Dollaz & Sense' IMO is the blueprint for a perfect diss track. In one line (that E-I-H-T shit) he made anything Eiht had ever said about him redundant.

lol my bad...when i said "happy soundz" i was referring to quik and "compton cyco" referring to eiht
