Title: Favorite NWA Album
Post by: infinite59 on July 28, 2002, 12:39:33 PM: It's funny ya'll... After seeing the "Wit A Dre Day" video in 93, I became a huge hip-hop fan, and Dre and Snoop were my favorite artists. I got both of their albums. And I went to the store to look for more shit from Dre, and I got all pissed, all I found was "Concrete Roots." I didn't realize he'd there were about 5 NWA cd's I could of picked up and loved. LOL.... anway......

My favorite NWA album is "Efil4zaggin"..... Cube is one of the greatest hip-hop writers ever, he left the group, and Dre just had DOC step in and they didn't lose a step. Dre makes it happen. He'll find the right people to get the job done. But without Dre, you have alot of talent, without the direction and production.

Eazy...Cube...Mc Ren...Yella and that other guy, that aiight producer, danm!! I can't remember his name..... ;)

Shit those names right there are history, and Legends in Cali hip-hop.
Could be the dopest combo in hip-hop ever...ImO it is no doubt.

In order:

Straight Outta Compton - Rap wise was just too tight. I need not say why it's the best, you already know. Production wasn't as good, but even Dre admits to that.

N.W.A. and the Posse - Not many real N.W.A. tracks, but the O.G. Dopeman, 8 Ball, and Boyz N Tha Hood are above most any N.W.A. song ever. Also other nice tracks on there

Efil4zaggin - The best producted album. But someone was right earlier, too many fuck songs for N.W.A. They were about issues, but Dr. Dre shined on that album.

100 Miles and Runnin' - Just an EP, so not much, but Fuck The Police 2 (Sa Prize) is a must have for any N.W.A. fan. 100 Miles and Runnin' was also a classic N.W.A.
