Dre’s attacker heads to court
Tuesday - May 10, 2005

It’s been six months since the infamous Vibe awards melee. The man who punched Dr. Dre, Jimmy James Johnson, was ordered by a California judge to stand trial on an assault charge.

According to the Associated Press, Judge James Dabney found sufficient evidence for the 26-year-old Johnson to have to face a trial. The assault was started as Johnson allegedly asked Dr. Dre for an autograph and proceeded to punch the producer several times in the face. The initial attack led to an all out brawl which led to Young Buck stabbing the attacker.

Johnson suffered a collapsed lung while Buck was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. He has pleaded not guilty and is awaiting a trial of his own. There is still an investigation as to who were the other two individuals that brandished knives during the fight.

i was actually wondering what was the deal with Young Buck

ain't heard anything about the case or whatever in a while

is he going to jail?

i think he is goin coz they got a gang of tapes and pictures and shit and you can actually see Buck´s stupid ass with a knife. why couldn´t Yayo´s wack ass stabbed the dude instead? coz i wouldn´t have missed him but Buck is talented. *wonder why Yayo didn´t go back in coz he was on tape throwin chairs at police officers*

i thought i saw a guy (who didnt look like Buck) stabbing the guy twice in the gut

when the guy gets swung round you see a guy at the top of the screen doing a stabbing motion

i could swear it wasn't Buck tho!

naw someone posted up pics on here when it went down and you could see Buck stabbing at dude twice. it was easy to recognize him coz of his cap and his shirt. and D-Tay´s stupid ass was holding a knife running away from the situation right after dude got stabbed.

Weird is that a signed artist retaliated for Dre, you think somebody from their entourage would of done somthing instead of Buck having to jump in. I couldn't care if Guniit rappers are that hardcore, or done for whatever, if they can't flow, they gotta get out of tha game. :o
