the commentator seems to blame carroll for the goal but personally i think it's a bit harsh on him.

It was a good strike, a world class keeper like a buffon or casillas has a 50% chance of saving that, a joker like Roy Carrol has 0% chance of saving that. He didnt even jump in the right direction just stood there like a muppet. Well done to Tiago though that was good vision.

its reminds me of ronaldinho scoring that free-kick against seaman at world cup, english commentators/press were sayin it was lucky & a fluke cause they couldnt accept it was an outrageous piece of skill
if that was rooney/lampard/terry that had scored a goal like that, wud hav been up for goal of the season without a doubt...

Great strike, Carroll's wasn't great at the goal, but the movement of the ball totally confuses him, but I wouldn't blame the keeper it was a wonderfully stuck ball

good strike, but carrol is shit, n the strike aint in the league of edmans for spurs gainst liverpool a while ago, what a strike that was!!!
