First off, the entire series is essential. You have got to see all of these movies before you die, they're some of the greatest shit ever filmed.
Anyways, I'd say something like
Episode 1: The Phantom Menace - 7.5
Episode 2: The Clone Wars - 8.5
Episode 3: The Revenge Of The Sith - 9
Episode 4: Star Wars A New Beginning - 8
Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back - 9
Episode 6: The Return Of the Jedi - 10

Its hard to put a number rating on it. definately 2 thumbs up. by far the best out of the new series, not dissapointing at all. I'd probably say 8.5. Great movie, too bad lucas didn't make the first 2 this well.

In order to get the full depth of Revenge of The Sith and Attack of the Clones you NEED to watch the CN micro series Clone wars, it's as good as any of the movies and Lucas intended for people to see that before Revenge as was hinted in the prologue. I'm still holding true to Empire Strikes Back as the greatest.

Episode 2.5: The Clone Wars Micro Series
Episode 3: The Revenge Of The Sith - 9

ill give it an 8, it is the best of the new ones though, they shouldntv killed Jango Fett the way they did in Attack of the Clones and Han Solo is still the best character out of the whole series!

8.75 it's a lil better than an 8.5 but not a 9 .
the story is PERFECT and lived up to everything it was suppose to be but the only thing holding it back was the acting it seemed like they reading q cards at times

as far as ratings got i pretty much agree with Maximilian Chase
but what i've seen of clone wars looked wack..
i really didn't like the emperor either from the look or the acting or anything beyond the point of the fight with mace windu
anakins 'death' was dope.. but i felt they rushed the final bit where they tied up loose ends somewhat
i think they didnt emphasise the passing of time well in places.. some parts obviously take place much longer after others
i have some questions left over after this movie..
- anakin never tells obi-wan to give his lightsabre to luke.. in fact before their fight anakin doesnt even know obi-wan knows the kid is anakins
- how does anakin/vader learn the force acension secret that qui-gon-gin came back to tell yoda bout, and tells obi-wan to learn coz at the end of ROT-jedi he's ascended
also just another observation
- anakin/vader never find out that he never really killed padme.. although he must figure somethings up since the kids survive..

I have to agree with what Overseer is saying. If you know the series you actually end uphaving just as many questions as you did before you went in.

O, the whole light saber thing is irrelevant. It was obi won's decision to give luke his saber, Vader had nothing to do with it.
I don't know what you're talking about on the second one (honestly, I'm ignorant of what you're saying)
and the third one, By the time Vader faces Luke, he's had 18 or so years to be on the dark side, by that time, it's irrelevant as to who killed Padme. He's moved on since then and became so dark that he probably doesn't even give a shit. He may not have even known luke was his until they were face to face, or maybe he just felt it with the force, by then who killed Padme probably wouldn't even be a concern to him, he's already a sith lord, running shit. Ultimately, too, though it may have been one of the reasons he eventually killed Darth Sidious. By this time he would have decided he didn't want to kill his son, and that Sidious probably killed Padme, etc. and all of that eventually mounted up to him destroying Sidious. So that part doesn't create a problem to me.

NO. He knew Luke was his the minute that he heard his name. Think about it his name USED to be Anakin SKYWALKER. That's why immediately after Episode 4 he sent scouts all over the Galaxy to find him.

Revenge is what should of been split up into 3 movies.

i have a bone to pick with this movie.
i anticipated it the most out of the series, however it fell much short of my expectations.
in the theater i felt a majority of the movie was boring, but for the most part it was a good movie, i mean we all knew what was going to happen anyway. i just didnt like the fact that anakin was such a pussy. like he turned so easily against the jedi, his friends and family. it was too ridiculous. sorry im not gonna go on i dont wanna give any spoilers. but im just sayin its a 7 in my book.

It was inferred in that scene that Padme and the child did not survive. It mattered to Vader in that moment 1.that she was dead and 2.that HE was the one that killed her(or so he was led to believe).

I think you're misunderstanding something. Who said Vader didn't think Padme died? I don't even get what you're arguing about. This is clear:
Padme died in Childbirth. They said in the movie she gave up the will to live (obviously because Anakin was presumed dead, or because she knew Anakin had went to the dark side before she went unconscious)
Sidious told Vader that he had killed Padme, and Vader said that she was alive after he choked her, he could feel it.
Then from what we know, years later he finds out Luke Skywalker is alive, and garners luke is his son through the name.
I don't get what you're saying about what was inferred. Of course it was inferred, how does that differ from what I've said?

just got back from seeing the movie a second time, and my review has changed a bit.
i caught some things i had missed before, and after the second viewing certain things started to make more sense to me. definately see it twice and your opinions will probably change.

I really enjoyed this movie. The Padme and Anakin scenes were not as bad as the critics made it to be. The scenes between them were short and didnt feel like they dragged on like they did in episode 2. I would probably say this one is as good as episode 5. the only thing this one is missing(same as episode 1 and 2) is harrison ford. 9.0/10
