........ I listen to his posthumous albums just as much as the albums he made when he was living. Some of his most touching and personal material is on those albums.

1. Makaveli Don Killuminati 7 Day Theory - Pac in his prime, w/o a doubt his best album and arguably the greatest rap album of all time. At the very least, its my all time fav album in any genre.
2. Me Against the World - incredible introspective classic album. One of the best albums ever.
3. All Eyez On Me - his most influential and celebrated album, though not quite his best. Still easily a classic though.
4. Strictly 4 My Niggaz & 2Pacalypse Now tie - cant choose between these two. Both political classics.
5. Still I Rise - Pac is at his finest here, but the Outlawz bring the album down a bit. If this was a Pac solo with less Outlawz, this would probably be right behind Makaveli as his best work. Pac was superb here.
6. R U Still Down - some nice gems on here covering his pre Death Row era.
7. Thug Life Vol.1 - this and R U Still Down are close, R U Still Down is a little better because TL is on the short side.
8. Better Dayz - an album with great potential that was messed up by poor remixes.
9. Until the End of Time - I have almost all the originals to this album, and they are incredible. The retail version is very poorly done with the exception of a few songs. Woulda been a classic if released in its og form.
10. Loyal To the Game - songs from Pac's 2Pacalypse Now and Strictly era butchered. By far the worst Pac album ever, and to be honest, its a disgrace to his legacy. Eminem's beats are so shitty its ridiculous.
Greatest Hits and Resurrection are mostly already released material, so I wont rate them. Both got lots of classic songs on them but you cant compare them to a studio album really.

Not everyone has the same opinion as you. All eyez was the best selling Rap CD when it was released, your acting like its not a good album. Pac on the mic and dre on the beat, this is definetly a classic.
-
^ok a couple of things here
i was just playing
all eyez on me was never the best selling
dre only produced 2 songs
-
all eyez on me was never the best selling
I dont know if its the best selling all time but im sure its easily top 3......which is close enough lol.
whats more important is the fact it still sells by the bucketloads more than nine years after its release, while most other albums stop selling after a year or two.
-
^mc hammer, biggie, and the fugees all outsold that album. and thats just the 3 im positive about

The Score only sold 6 million domestically, compared to 10 mill+ for AEOM. So you can knock that one off.
Hammer and Biggie's second album may have sold more but they wont for long......as of now, AEOM is selling more units weekly then either Hammers album or Life After Death. All three albums are at least 8 years old but AEOM has clearly aged the best, and will more than likely emerge as the highest selling rap album of all time when its all said and done.
-
It was best selling back in 96, and also the first Double disc album in rap
-
^^^second highest, because Hammers album was the highest back then still.
Top 5 selling rap albums of all time probably look something like this, all of have sold at least 9 mill domestically:
1. Hammer
2. Life After Death
3. All Eyez on Me
4. Pac's Greatest Hits
5. Marshall Mathers LP
of all 5 though, AEOM definatly sells the most consistantly and will probably reach the #1 slot, if it already hasnt.
one other stat for Pac: once Greatest Hits reaches 10 million, Pac will be the first rapper ever to have not one, but TWO, diamond albums. I know the Pac haters are dreading that day, because then us Pac fans will have ultimate bragging rights then ;D
