I wanna see who YOU guys would choose to for a Track featuring one emcee from each region: South, West Coast, East Coast, Mid West.
Only requirements, they have to be alive. So Pac, Eazy, Mausberg, Pun, etc. ARE not options.
Just an example:
West Coast: Crooked I
MidWest: TechN9ne
East Coast: Papoose
South: Bun B

And yes, I know this is played out, but Im just curious as to who everyone would choose/want to hear together.
-
without putting a lot of thought into it:
West: Ice Cube
East: Method Man
Midwest: Xzibit :P
South: Scarface
that would be a dope song
-
West: DJ Quik (who would also produce the track ;))
East: Kweli
South: Devin
Midwest - Kanye
I reckon those four would sound awesome on the same joint...
-
West Coast: Crooked I
East Coast: Jadakiss
Midwest: Common
South: Bun B
-
South:Bun B - now i gotta go with Bun coz he´s the best lyricist outta the south IMO. and he can rip any type of beats.
West:Kam - now homie is seriously dope and he can kick any type of shit(gangsta, political, party etc).
Midwest:Tech9ine - his flow is insane and he would be the "weird" edition to the group.
East:Kool G Rap - some peeps wanna say that he´s fallen off and that he aint a good lyricist no more but he´ll still make your favorite rapper look like a fuckin elementary rapper(lyric and flow wise).
-
West : Kurupt
Midwest : TechN9ne
South : Scarface
East : Prodigy
-
West- Crooked I
East- Nas
Mid- Tech
South- Face
Producer- Battlecat
8) 8)
-
west coast: Dr. Dre
east coast: Redman
Midwest: Royce da 5'9"
South: Ludacris (king of guest appearances/one verse tracks)
i think that shit would be a hot track, if they were all on it together.
-
Ludacris (king of guest appearances/one verse tracks)
ever heard of 2 rappers named Busta Rhymes and Bun B? they rip their guest appearances way harder then Luda does.

West Coast: Murs

East Coast: Black Thought

East: Kool G Rap
South: Scarface
West: Ice Cube
-
Another one
West: DJ Quik
South: Devin
Midwest: Black Thought
East: Talib Kweli
And my last one :D
West: Crooked I
South: Bun B
Midwest: Black Thought
East: GZA
-
When the Philly become the MidWest?
-
Or what about that O.G. list?
East: Kool G Rap
South: Scarface
West: Ice Cube
This happened 13 years ago, incase you didn't know.
East - Rakim (Last Verse)
West - Ras Kass (Second Verse)
South - Devin The Dude (Chorus)
Midwest - Eminem (First Verse)
Eminem might be garbage to some right now but I'd guarantee he'd step it up big time if he was on a track with Rakim. He'd have a "Renagade" type performance for sure.
-
Nice Topic.......
Midwest: Eminem (even though he's been wack since the "D-12 World" record, he's still iller than anyone else I could think of, the game is weak these days)
Westcoast: Game (Game lives up to the hype that surrounds him, people underestimate him, his rhyme skills are above average, it's not just beats, "I'm feelin' like Quik now that Mausburg's gone/ So I don't hop in the SS without the Mausburg holmes!")
South: Young Buck (I wanted to pick Andre 3000 but he was wack as hell to me on that last Outkast Record)
East Coast: Immortal Technique (he's one of the hottest new cats out today, it's rare that I find a rapper that is too intense for my own tastes, I really can't listen to him that much, but I recognize him as being one of hip-hop's top mc's)
