i'm also buying a bed.. i went to ikea 2 days ago.. they didnt have cheap/decent beds to my liking
they do some with odd underbed storages soluations, but they're pricey
check their website out they have their entire catalogue online
i've also looked around lots of places locally.. but the best i can find is this so far..
problem is i dont want a footboard.. and i dont want much of a headboard since the head end will be up against a wall partly under a window sill..
and also want nothing along the sides..lots lately seem to have stupid wooden edges/shelves that overhang.. i know that'd hurt.. plus it takes up extra width which is at a premium right now
i also dont want a solid base as i want to use underbed storage..probably be containers i buy that will roll under

i was looking into something like this.. but i've decided against it .. as once i've saved up for my house this will be one less thing i have to buy at the time.. plus these are nearly £800 and that bed is under £300

is that just (mostly) MDF?
n what gonna keep the mattress from moving ?
-
Its all Maple-Faced plywood, then I edged it with maple vanier. And it's got a clear coat on it.
It's in the corner of my room, so the matress won't really move.
