This is the soldiers song...
A soldier who's studied in Qu'ran...
A soldier who's deep in Islam...
A soldier who refused to be a pawn
You saw your people raped and enslaved
and you dreamed of the struggle for peace/
You taught your people how to behave/
according to the book/
You used to be a black icon/
resistance figure/
then in prison you found the Qu'ran/
And found the way of life of Islam/
And now your hero not just for the African Americ-on/
but all the righteous soldiers of Islam/
Peace goes out to Imam Jamil/
Cause he was way to real/
They threw him up in cuffs/
but in faith there is a trust/
and the most pious will be tested/
and although falsely convicted/
you were framed and the black and
Muslim community objected!/
But now they try to make you subjected to the system/
But you only submit to Allah/
And you've altered the cell in prison/
into a house of worship,
and may your deeds always be pleasing to Allah/
....This is the soldiers song.
