Basically, I made a list of tracks that were recorded around the same time as the albums themselves. Feel free to add...
-
Would "G'z Up, Hoez Down" still go under Doggystyle since it was pulled off the shelf?
-
^ yeah it should i guess..
personally i'd put the chronic track remixes down with The Chronic itself...
there is another Deep cover remix called 187um
also... was Niggas Dont Give A Fuck released that early? it was on the poetic justic soundtrack wasnt it?
also there was a song Snoop did with Suge's artist Chocolate (not c.b.) and the song snoop did with Foesum called 'let em understand perfection'
another one is... Dogg Pound - Just Doggin from sunset park soundtrack
and no tracks from MWTC OST, Above The Rim etc are listed
from the chronic unreleased there is.. Ho Hopper & Rat tat tat (original)
oh and from doggystyle there is the "perfecto" remix by paul oakenfold...
the x-rated version is only on vinyl
-
Normally, I'd put the Let Me Ride Remix under "The Chronic", but since the song was recorded during the Doggystyle sessions, I figure it belongs there.
-
how was it recorded in doggystyle sessions when its on the 12" for let me ride?
-
I guess it depends on when the Let Me Ride 12'' was released. If it was released in late summer \ early fall '93, that would make sense.
-
I've seen the actual MASTER TAPES of the following - no speculation. There are alot more but I can't remember them at the moment:
The Chronic:
Ho Hopper
Mr. Officer
(a shit load of skits, like one called "Phone Booth")
Doggystyle:
God Don't Like Ugly (with gospel choir)
Dogg Food:
Untitled song with Lenny Kravitz "Fields of Love" sample
U Can't Cee Me
Dogg Pound Gangstas (Dr. Dre remix)
-
"The Throne is Mine" was ALWAYS for Royce, it wasnt some ghostwritten track for Dre like everyone says.
"Chin Check" and "Hello" werent for 2001
"Niggas Dont Give a Fuck" is from Poetic Justice soundtrack
and theres a few other unreleased Doggystyle tracks. i forgot the name, but one just leaked that featured Rage. and "Curb Servin" was one
does anyone know where Kurupt's song "I Dont Bang No More" was supposed to be released? and did Dre produce that?
-
I know the NWA cuts may not have been recorded specifically for "2001", but Mellowman did confirm that Hello was orginally a Dre solo track called "Motherfucker I'm Dre", while Chin Check was recorded during the "2001" sessions, but held over for Cube's "Next Friday" soundtrack.
-
i wan the og next episode in good quality. i bet nobody has it though. damn.

Chronic 2001
Buck Em
Bitch Please
Just Dippin
Chin Check
Hello
Remember Me?
Bad Guys Always Die
The Throne Is Mine
The Way I Be Pimpin'
Maybe I don't get what you are sayin, but Buck Em, Bitch Please and Just Dippin were on Top Dogg, Chin Check was on Next Friday, and Hello was on Cube's CD. So were you sayin that they had got left off Chronic 2001 or didn't make the list, and he ended up usin them for these projects, or were you thinkin these tracks were never on any major albums? Clear it up for me
-
^naw Dre said "Buck Em" and "Bitch Please" were originally for 2001. eminem's song "remember me" was too (the one with RBX & Sticky Fingaz)
-
