Ok, I just got my first car 2 weeks ago and yesterday I got a Pioneer Premier 10" Subwoofer....Its max is 1500 watts but Ive been hearing the amp should only put out 500 or so....I still need an amplifier and a deck....Can anyone help me out or give suggestions?
Thanks

your gonna want one amp just for your sub, and another for your other speakers, unless you just want to power them from the deck.

well with 1 10" sub, it doesn't sound like you're gonna have a crazy competition type of system, so you could probaby use a 200 watt amp, and just power the speakers with the deck like grundy said, it'll be fine.
I had 2x12" subs powered by a 250 watt amp, it was fine.

Thanks for the input guys....Time to shop around for an amp now

Don't waste your money/time/ears to have one of those rattling cars.
