Oh, man! I really hope he comes back as a Laker coach. We need him, we need him both tecnically and psicologically, 'cause we need a man to, you know, to have enought respect to actually be like a general. Kobe is a great player, but he can't be a general (because of all the shit talked about him in the past), we need a respectable coach to be the general, while Kobe should just care about playing well and motivating his other teammates.

Why are you surprised that a franchise player does express his opinion about some candidates for the coaching job of his team? It's like that everywhere, man. It's just that people blamed Kobe for Buss' decisions, last year, so it looks like it's a big deal, or a scandal. But it aint. If Popovic retires, dont you think Duncan will have something to say about their new coach? And it's the same if we talk about Shaq's team, Iverson's team, Melo's team, LeBron's team, Garnett's team, etc.. Am i wrong? But i do agree, Kobe should not be the one to choose the next coach. He should only express his opinion, if requested. Buss is the boss. He gotta take the responsability.

I was told kobe said he prefers Brain Shaw for right now then as soon as Larry Brown is done in detroit this summer Lakers will try to get him in LA. Larry Brown also wants to Coach the Lakers and is very high on Kobe and respects him. thats why kobe wants Larry Brown.

-Devan Gerorge & Slava will be traded to the pacers for Jonathan Bender along with the 17th pick in the draft.
-Mitch Kupchak will try to acquire Kevin Garnett via trade. The only way this does not happen is if minnesota doesn't wanna let KG go.
