Title: Questions For People That Live Close To Amsterdam Or That Have Been There
Post by: Twentytwofifty on June 09, 2005, 06:23:59 PM
Some of my friends wants to take a vacation there towards the end of the summer and I have a couple of questions.

- how is the weather at the end of August, September and October?
- how many days do you recommend we stay?  I was told you only need like 3-4 days there to do everything
- what are the prices like at the bars/clubs (cover & beer prices)

I haven't looked into it at all yet really.  I'll think of some more questions later maybe.

Late September it usually starts raining. In August it's usually nice though if you don't mind humidity.

If you just go to Amsterdam, you can do all the fun stuff in a few days. If you wanna check out more things, you can stay for a few weeks as well.

Beer is usually €2. Other alcoholic drinks are usually more expensive, but it depends on what you drink. The cover prizes... it's about the same as in the US, I guess.

I was there back in '99.  It's a real cool city.  Everyone should visit there once in their life.  I also got to see the rest of the country and I really liked it.

Wear orange and you should be cool.
