Scarface - The Diary (1994)

What can you say Scarface, he's a legend to say the least and one of the most respected MCs ever, especially among other artists from the south.  Listening to his most inner thoughts is truly a Pandora's box experience.  Caught somewhere between sanity and a nervous breakdown, his lyrics make listeners believe he converses with the grim reaper.  Songs like "I Seen A Man Die" and "Hand Of The Dead Body" (featuring a verse from Ice Cube and Devin The Dude on the chorus) are simply incredible and two of the greatest ever.  He shows quite a bit of diversity on this album with a hard delivery spittin' some gangster lyrics to more mellow flow with deep introspective lyrics on other songs.  Although The Diary is as dark and jarring as a suicide note, it's easily his most distinguished body of work.

Again, I've been busy and haven't been able to get the hook-up done and do a little review.  I'll get the hook-up done tomorrow for sure.

Props man... I'm not that much of a Scarface fan, but this should be good.
