US actress Katie Holmes says she is converting to Scientology, embracing the new age faith of boyfriend Tom Cruise.
Holmes, in London to promote the new film Batman Begins, told Associated Press she was excited about her lessons in the religion.

The former Catholic and star of television's Dawson's Creek grew up with a poster of Cruise on her bedroom wall and has said she used to dream of one day marrying the actor.

Holmes, 26, had been on the record about her relationship with 42-year-old Cruise since the end of April.

The relationship began after Cruise split from Spanish actress Penelope Cruz, and Holmes and actor Chris Klein called off their long-standing engagement.


I don't think Dawson and Pacey will like this  ;D

So we were all crazy before this came about? I remember back in the day seeing those L. Ron Hubbard book commercials like 20 times a day with the soothing voice and shit. I can't help but laugh at that. Thanks for the link Kain.

The whole thing is a sham, she isn't gong to convert that's probably just the media making up shit about scientology.

Interesting note because of what's on the news this week, but when Lisa Marie Pressley married Michael Jackson, he 'converted' to scientology, too, because she's a member.
