What are some songs that you consider to be hot west coast songs, because of the west coast producer, west coast vibe of the song, or the west coast artist featured on the track, even though the rapper wasn't from the west? I wouldn't just say any song that had a west coast artist was considered a west coast track, but the ones that had a west coast soundin beat and all else, but the main artist wasn't west.

Bout It Bout It - now this joint aint got shit to do with the west coast coz neither KLC or P are from Cali and the lyrics doesn´t really sound west coast but it´s something about that beat that makes me associate it with west coast music.

That's all up for argument....I am assuming Rage didn't ever claim the west coast, and that she just moved to LA when she got with Death Row. Pac was always claiming the west, and he lived there many times throughout his life...he wasn't born and raised in NY, then just moved to CA when he got with Tha Row. He was down with Digital Underground and that was the Bay, back in the early 90s, and I think he was born in Oakland and his mom was a Panther, and the Panthers are definitely west coast.

^i think Pac is from the BX or Harlem originally. i know for a fact that he was born in NY but i´m not sure in which borough.
