Title: Hey is PLAYMAKERS coming back?

the season on ESPN was pretty sick, are they coming back with a season 2..

No.  I think they had a problem with Gatorade sponsoring them or something like that.

If I remember correctly, it was something about the NFL threatened Gatorade that if they kept sponsoring that show they (the NFL) were going to find a different sponsor.  Supposedly because Playmakers gave football a bad image or some shit...as usual, it's all about money and greed.

But then again, it might've been the NFL threatened ESPN to remove it (the NFL) from ESPN.

i remember it was the nfl threatening espn to pull it off the air because they said it gave the league a bad image. i think thats lame, cuz i liked the show and the nfl is probly scared cuz they know at least some of that is truth.

It was the No Fun League rearing its ugly head once again. It was a good show, especially Omar Gooding's character.
