Title: WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO ST.IDES BEER ( WHY DID THEY STOP SELLING IT )

BECAUSE THAT WAS MY FAVORITE BEER TO GET MY DRINK ON , I REMEMBER 2 PAC , MC EIHT , SNOOP DOGG , ICE CUBE & A COUPLE OTHER RAPPERS USED TO MAKE COMMERCIAL'S AND PROMOTED THAT BEER AND I THINK MADE A ST.IDES ALBUM OR SOME SHIT !! GET BACK ATE ME ON THIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by: We Fly High on June 16, 2005, 02:24:33 PM: i believe they stopped selling St ides beer cos it had such extreme marketing tactics towards the youth. they had many rappers endorsing it like ice cube, meth, red, 2pac , snoop... like all the radio commercials and shit. and with Ice Cube's "Black Korea" that made a lot of korean store owners boycott the st ides brands.. but i mainly remember is basically, therer was too much heat on st ides from the outside public in regards to marketing the alcohol towards youth, that the owner or creator of ST Ides even like disconnected himself from the name "st ides" cos he didnt like all the negative attention.

Post by: Low Key on June 16, 2005, 06:02:49 PM: I remember getting cases of those back in 9th grade. Haven't seen em since. I know the special brew was banned here because of the gang colors. Oh well. OE is better anyways.

apparently you haven't tried Natural Ice or Keystone Light. That's like water mixed with salt and piss
