Hopefully Detox has no rappers on it at all.
Fiending for Dre to invent a new music style. Orchestrated Dre Funk or something like that. Like taking small samples of the songs the producers have donated and using them put together as an orchestra. I want to see him show his real abilities. Dre has provided enough hiphop music allready. It's time for a change. Dre is in his fourties, the hiphop concept is based on the goal to entertain kids and teenagers. There should be made some new music for the people who listened to hiphop in their youth but are now grown up and are tired of the fact that the same formula is used over and over again. Music that still remains simple and funky but just more mature and educated (off course he has to put a new signature drum sound to it also).
Music nowadays is just fucked up, it doesn't surprise me anymore. Almost everything "new" has allready been done ten times better in the past.

I agree with you 100% man. I love Dre, but I would REALLY love to see him really push himself and do some new and crazy shit some shit no one's ever heard before. Fuck sales, just do some beautiful music, ya know? I know that's just a dream, but who knows.

I'm sure Game will be on it, just like MC Ren, Ice Cube, Snoop and maybe the Dogg Pound. If this is Dre's last cd, he will have all of the big playas on it. Hopefully, DOC will be behind the scenes. What's the status of Detox? I heard that game is already talking about his cd coming out in Jan/Feb of next year and that dre and cool n dre were producing all of it! Dre is sure going to be hella busy trying to create some beats!

2 cd's would be tite 8)
1 cd with ice cube, mc ren, the doc, xzibit, busta, DPG etc..
other one with the new cats in the game like 50, g-unit, the game etc

from what ive read dr and focus are going in july to work on detox and not expect to finsh it for 9 months or it was 7 months either way dont expect it to drop this year probabayb summer 2006. 8)
