man warren g is the better mc its obvious, his flow and voice is better, i'm a fan of Quiks lyrics, but warren g's lyrics are better (even if he doesnt write all his shit)...

Quiks a better producer, but his mic skills arent all that, he's just fun to listen to...

everyone is gettin their shit mixed up on this forum.

seriously, Warren has NEVER been a tight MC. He's just got that cool voice for that G-Funk shit. But lyrically he's terrible.

Quik's voice is just too high pitched and his flow is most of the time too fast.

Quik is a better lyricist.

If Quik slows down his tempo and lowers the pitch just a little bit he would sound like Eazy E on Creep and Crawl and What would you do, that would be dope.

By the way does somebody have Quik accapella's? I'll put them on some of my beats in the above descriped way, let you listen to it.

Post by: Z the laidback Virus on June 18, 2005, 07:29:34 AM: Lyrically Quik is way better, but like said his voice is too high pitched and that's what can get irritating.That's not to say Warren G can't sound irritating (take 'It Ain't Nothing Wrong With You' or his 'Friends', I greatly dislike Warren there) but on the whole Warren G just sounds more relaxed and has a more likeable voice then Quik has. Apart from the 213 album however, his lyrics are below average at best and horrible at worst.
