What the fuck is going on. Why is Dr 'Genius' dre so determined to produce her album on Aftermath??? Whats the big appeal?
She aint got a great voice, she aint a good writer, her flow is wack n basic, she aint got good music charisma, got no J-Lo type sex appeal. Shes wack. Straight up wack. Shes got a wack lil tv show, made crummy acting appearances in the barber shop films, was once affiliated to the ruff ryder crew, is an exposed lesbian pussy eating butch, ex sleazy small time pole dancerr, proably got a small minor stupid girly teenage fanbases...
So why does Andre Young want to do an EVE album???
Im sure most of us here dont wanna hear her wack 'rappin' especially over beats that have been constructed by Dre n his co-producers.
You know i aint too amped to hear Busta over at Aftermath but maybe hes capable of pulling off some good rhymes n flows on a couple of songs.
I just hope instrumentals are released for Eves album.
Shit that bitch might be on Detox too...arghhhhhh. >:(
Bitch must be thinking she a dope rapper :P

Maybe? :o Busta's one of the illest rappers out right now 8)

I haven't heard this news anywhere but I'll trust ya
I agree 100% with you too, if this were to happen, what the hell is the point and why?
what a joke, although all I've heard recently about Dr. Dre is rumors, a lot of stuff he's doing or is gonna do seems awfully commercial
Dre is anything but underground but he's working and is expected to work BEHIND THE SCENES on some of the gayest pop shit
doing Gwen Stefani tracks and Eve tracks....
he's doing nothing but wasting beats/talent/time on bullshit that could be channeled
into West Coast albums and make his icon status even larger with the Coast he seems to not be paying attention to these dayz

You are a jealous idiot. How dear you say rubbish things about someone that is not on hand to reply you. I think you are very sick in your brain. I sometimes find it difficult to understand how some Americans reason, well from where am coming from (Nigeria) we are not brought up to say bad things on someone's behind. You should reduce what you are smoking because it is about to get you into trouble. I have great repect for Eve and what she is doing to take care of her family, if you cannot be like her that must not turn you into a jealous pig. By the way why must Dr Dre you all rejected when he left Death Row still come back to you? If you want his service you people should be up and doing, Most of you in the West coast are too jealous and lazy and as such want everything to be done for you. Are you not old enough to take Dr Dare’s place instead of questioning who he should produce for, please go back to school of thoughts for you have none. Peace from Nigeria

you didn't know Eve is signed to Aftermath? ::)

Eve is the nicest female rapper in the game right now. listen to the previous tracks she's done with Dre

man...... shut the fuck up
-
all i gotta say is listen to EVE - EVE Of DESTRUCTION off the bulwroth soundtrack. thats aftermath and eve at its finest. tell me that aint one of the dopest tracks you ever heard.
-
instinct u coulda saved that deep shit for another thread homie
-
shiiiiiiit y'all gettin dumb by the day........1st busta was a wack signin accordin to some dumb muthafuckaz yet his one of the dopest in the game at the moment....one of the few who still in the game after so many years......now eve!?!? y'all crazy!?!? eve one of the nicest female mc's in the game and she tick, dunno wat y'all sayin about her being ugly, id fuck the bitch so sick she get writers block.
and yeh she got a nice flow, nice lyrics, she make nice joints.......aslong as she is focused and dre is focused on making about 4-5 joints on her album, it should be dope.....but i cant see this comin out till atleast november to be honest......if it comes out.....
i know dre will release teh busta joint cuz he'd be crazy not to and he dont gottas worry about introducin him to the regular cat like he did with ra cuz everyone know busta
peace
-
by the way, dre can work who the fuck he wants to, he dont even gotta be producin no mo yet he still gives all us fans new shit all the time and still doin it......cuz he down with music and makin dope joints.........let him work with whoever he wants......muthafuckaz will still be callin him a sellout
pz
-
man...... shut the fuck up
lmao!
-
dont knock eve for being a female rapper. She is great at what she do and is one of the best female rappers ever.
-
at least it isnt an e40 cd
-
She came real correct on "Not Today". I'm not big on female rappers, but Eve's pretty tight.
-
i agree with some of you, eve is a dope rapper. She's the femal rapper i respect the most because she respect herself more than most of rappers (male include). She don't have the flow of rah digga or the body of trina, but she's sexy and talented. And dre discovered her first. She was suppose to drop a cd before chronic 2001. If i would be dre and wanted a female rapper for my label, i think eve is the best choice. Now some are gonna call me i'm a stan of her but i dont own any cd of her but i simply know she's better than lil kim and trina. peace
-
Im sure most of us here dont wanna hear her wack 'rappin' especially over beats that have been constructed by Dre n his co-producers.
exactly
nothing against eve, but dre should be working with someone innovative, different and original to every other cat out there...........................like Kool Keith!!
now THAT would be a collaboration
-
I think Dre feels that he "owes" Eve an album. I'm sure I read that EVE was down with Aftermath in 96/97 and Dre had to drop her since he wasn't going to be putting music out since the Aftermath compilation bombed. She then blew up with the Ruff Ryders or whatever and dre felt bad that he didn't get to help her out back then. Gwen and Eve make some good music. I wouldn't be suprised if they got it on with each other! EVE isn't really commercial.... I wanna see Dre work with Britney Spears or something.
-
I think Dre works with who the fuck he wants to work with. But hey, I could be wrong.
-

Yeah, I agree.
I don't know if people are deaf, or blind, or both, but you've gotta be off your fuckin' rocker to hate on EVE. Why? She's never doe anything to anybody, she looks good, and she sounds good to me. You're saying she doesn't have a flow, are you crazy?
Want to know another reason, too? She plays the game. She knows how to work the record industry, she shows up on time for appointments, she does all her business like she's supposed to, and keeps it professional. Dre has a ton of respect for things like that. Look @ some of the other people he's worked with in his career, and look at their professionalism. Do you honestly think Daz will ever be ANYTHING? Look @ how he handles himself on his website, look at how he runs everything so ghetto, look at how he rips his own fans off by selling CD's and shit that never come. He says 1 thing 1 day and does another the next. I'm just using Daz as an example to explain why I think Dre would prefer working with some people (eve) who may seem less talented than others he doesn't want to work with (daz).
It takes a lot of things to be successful in music, talent is just a small part of it. Eve has the talent, and all the rest as well, so I'm sure Dre loves working with her because she has the ability to be a superstar.
-
i appreciate whoever dre works with....alotta ppl here obviously want dre to work with west coast rappers....but if dre dont want to work with west coast rappes then who gives a shit....let him work with whoever he wants to.....eve is a tight rapper....and i cant wait for her album to drop along with bussa bus

eve's hot man.... and she got a nice flow 2... so does busta
-
Eve is dope

"Now some are gonna call me i'm a stan of her but i dont own any cd of her but i simply know she's better than lil kim and trina. peace" YUnG_LoCc
Man what if you own Eve's cd? You are a civilized man and you must not let riff raff dictate how you leave your live man. Eve has got over a million fans in Nigeria even though she has not paid a visit that is hot. She is one of the most popular female rapper in Nigeria. Go check the record.
-
WestCoasta you are a yes ma man. You do not have your own sense of reasoning idiot. You just agreed to a thoughtless writing without thinking fool!
-
Trauma, I respect your thoughts and the way you deliver them, keep it up. Some people just criticize without thinking. All those criticizing Eve how are you better in what you are doing?

lol, that had me laughing for a minute or two ;D You gets a prop for that!
But on the real...
Shes got a wack lil tv show, made crummy acting appearances in the barber shop films, was once affiliated to the ruff ryder crew, is an exposed lesbian pussy eating butch
Did you just say she's an exposed lesbian? ;D ;D ;D
Maybe she'll start talking about fucking bitches too! lol, and you dare saying she's "just like any other rapper"? I ain't never heard no female rapper talking about bitches before! ;D
-
she's ok
-
i don't mind Eve... but there's so much more talent Dre could use his energy on.
All those criticizing Eve how are you better in what you are doing?
stupid remark... actually, i haven't seen you say anything smart on this board.
if you have to be better than the ones you criticize... half of the board couldn't even diss mc hammer...

Eve's the most complete female rapper. All female rappers are wack. (Except Rage). Dre discovered Eve. Dre scored a fucking big hit with Eve: Blow your mind. (Almost as big as In da club) Dre knows still a lot of female teenagers buy singles, they download less than boys. Dre is going to score major with her album. It will be the money he needs to release less commercial orientated albums like: Bishop.

Bang. Nail on the head. She might not be the best rapper that ever lived, but she sure does have the potential to sell a lot. End of.

i dont care to hear Dre beats and Eve's rhyming at all, she was dope early on...but im not surprised Dre is wanting to work with her at all, i mean that "Eve Of Destruction" track is dope as fuck, but i dont listen to female rappers at all! so i dont care Dre always wants to work with female artist and always waste time doing so, Mary J Blidge, Truth Hurts, Michel'le, Jewell, Eve, Gwen Stefani, Toni Braxton, JJ-Fad, he has always wanted to blow a female artist up, every time they ask him whats next its a project like this, when he was on Power 106 recently, Mary J Blidge is the only artist he cared about mentioning for "Detox", the time before when the ICe Cube signing to Aftermath was huge all he could blab about was EVE being signed...
-
he's doing nothing but wasting beats/talent/time on bullshit that could be channeled

Eve will go atleast platinum and make Dre a few millions and y´all still wondering why he signed her?
-
did most of y'all forget that EVE was one of the first artist signed to aftermath a few years back?
-

she wasn´t one of the first but he signed her before he signed Eminem.
-
Mygla are you dissing for a living? Well good luck with that
-
Dear mr. Instinct,
since your posts to this thread haven't helped us a bit further I advise you to play Oracle somewhere else. You happen to be bothering me and the rest of us on a none too little scale.
yours sincerely,
Z the laidback Virus
Anyways, Eve is signed because she'll make Dre money. Her work with Dre has been nice and I could think of worse combinations then Dre and Eve,eventhough I'm not a fan of her.

Don't know if this was posted yet, anyway: MTV:
With Tracks From Eve, Nas, Mary J. On Tap, Swizz Beatz Is Hotter Than Ever

BEVERLY HILLS, California — Eve is signed to Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment, but she's not leaving behind her favorite Ruff Ryders music maker.
"She's over there with Aftermath, but she's still family and there's still all love and we still gonna make history," hitmaker Swizz Beatz said recently. "Me and Dr. Dre is doing the album — it's classic already. We're about seven songs deep. She's very focused. That's my sister."
Swizz, who has been working with Eve since he was 16, said the rapper-turned-actress is changing up her sound for the follow-up to 2002's Eve-Olution, which is due later this year.
"I told Dre I don't want to do an album that's not believable," Swizz said. "She can't talk about being in the 'hood and this and that when she's got a TV show and she's living the good life. Rap about the good life and how you got there, and give messages out to the young female youth coming out — but [make sure it's] still nice to dance to. She's making a very believable album."
Along with Eve, Swizz has been in the studio with several acts, including Beyoncé, Nas, Kelis, Q-Tip, Mary J. Blige, Twista, Cassidy, Young Gunz, Memphis Bleek and, of course, his longtime collaborator DMX.
"I produced 80 songs from January to now," said Swizz (real name: Kasseem Dean). "I'm just grinding. I got almost every single out right now."
Well, maybe not every single, but with Cassidy's "I'm a Hustla" (see "Swizz, Mary J. Keep Bangin' On Cassidy's 'I'm A Hustla' "), T.I.'s "Bring Em Out" (see "Swizz Beatz Back In The Spotlight Thanks To T.I., Cassidy") and Mashonda's "Blackout" (featuring Nas), he's certainly hot.
"I just want to let the industry know that Swizz Beatz still be doing it 10 years straight," said Swizz, who's also worked with Jay-Z ("Money, Cash, Hoes," "If I Should Die"), Busta Rhymes, Foxy Brown and just about the entire Ruff Ryders roster over the years. "I keep giving away my hits, though. 'Bring Em Out' and 'Hustla' were [supposed to be] on my next album. So I'm gonna take time out to do my album."
First, though, he's wrapping up production duties on DMX's Here We Go Again, due July 19 (see "Mase Advises DMX To Rap Again, Wait For The Lord's Call"). Swizz's contributions include the first single, "Pump Ya Fist."
"It's a Public Enemy track, but I flipped the beat a little bit," Swizz said. "It's got a lot of energy. Public Enemy always had that energy, and when I thought of this next DMX album, he had to come like a rebel without a cause."
Swizz is also behind some tracks on another high-profile July 19 release, Busta Rhymes' The Big Bang. "I don't want to ruin it, but he's got a song with Stevie Wonder," Swizz said. "That's the level he's taking it to."
Finally, the latest Ruff Ryders release, Redemption: Volume 4, due July 26, also features Swizz, along with DMX, Jadakiss, the LOX, Akon and others.
