Title: Game's Subliminal shots at Jigga on the Documentary?
Post by: gzs on June 18, 2005, 04:05:22 AM
Jay didn't felt dissed just because of the Maybach line. He stated there was many.

"One phone call Ill have your body dumped in Marcy" might be one.

My questions to you guys:
Can you come up with more Documentary lines directed towards Jigga?
Do you think these lines were actually made on purpose?
Or is it just because Game has been influenced so much by Jay, by listening to his albums when he was in the hospital, that he took over some of Jay's signatures without a purpose?

That line on Documentary where he states never taking shots at legends. Is it sarcastic? I mean in most of rap beefs there was at least one legend.

Take Canibus - LL Cool J and Nelly - KRS One for example.

Young rappers often try to take down legends in their own profit. Legends are most of the time cocky. So is Jay, especially for not appearing on the documentary.

Game gives mega props to jay-z, but they can be taken the wrong way just how he words his shit...

another one...

"Im ready to die
Without a reasonable doubt
Smoke chronic and hit it
Doggy style before i go out
Until they sign my death certificate
All eyez on me
Im still at it, illmatic
And thats THE DOCUMENTARY

"

this shit could be taken that he's givin props to jigga, or he's excluding him subliminally by sayin "without a reasonable doubt" personally i think he's not takin any shots at jay-z, if he wanted to diss him he'd diss him openly...

Without a Reasonable doubt. Exactly.

Documentary was one of the last tracks Game recorded for the album. He knew when writing that song Jay wasn't going to appear on Dreams.

Game isn't really a gangsterrapper, he is in his concepts more of a backpack rapper, who take subliminal shots. Although yelling out loud fuck Jay Z on stage in Amsterdam after Jay took subliminal shots back at him made me reconsider.

True and many will argue that he is but IMO Jay-z isn't even the greatest rapper alive from the East Coast let alone the greatest rapper alive.

You can make a better argument for Nas rather than Jay-z.

Jigga misinterpretending Game's lyrics shows how bad of an mc Game is?

People think he's dissing while he ain't. His rhymes don't reflect his purpose.

What do you think?
