Title: Remixes that were better than the original song
Post by: Wild_Elmo on June 20, 2005, 10:17:17 PM
I'll start it off by saying I liked the remix of LBC Crew - Beware Of My Crew, better than the original. However the original was still dope as fuck. I'll post more when i can think of them. everyone else post theirs and their opinion.

^^^Good Ones!....."Da Game Dont Wait Remix", Damn not just the beautiful Dr.Dre production, but that shyt knocked the lyrics are the same from the 213 crew but that shyt is heard differently on Dre's beat than Warren's slow one, the lyrics just dragged with his beat, Xzibit also added heat to the song, and he was like the hottest young gun at the time...

Ice Cube "When I Get To Heaven" the original is bangin' its some slow G-Funk, but the remis is straight FUNK and the hook is damn dope and adds much energy and meaning to the lyrics...classic track

also i cant believe i forgot Public Enemy shut em down, the pete rock remix... straight up hip hop classic right there, hands down. one of the best songs EVER.

I got cha opin remix by black moon. DA BEATMINERZ.

Scenario Remix - ATCQ, and Leaders of the new school... i cant really decide which one i like more, the original or this one, i might have to go with the remix though. i love how they just trade their verses.. its too bad we dont usually have hip hop like that anymore. super dope classic ish.

yup like said in the posts before, game dont wait remix, and also Let Me Ride remix which is like 10000X doper than the original. I dont even really listen to the original one anymore, i way prefer the remix. that beat just sounds so much better and fuller.  and with the extra daz verse, and also the end when they got that guitar solo, shit is fucking nuts. NUMBER ONE SONG to ride in your car to on a Sunny day in california.
