Post by: Don Seer on July 04, 2002, 04:00:54 AM
Name some things about the original Death Row era that made that shit stand out as being their's

'Like we always do about this time'

used on The Chronic Intro, Doggystyle 'bathtub intro', Dogg Food intro... sidenote: dre also used it on the intro for the Aftermath compilation

Lol. Also the artists mentioning the actual label, Death Row, not many artists did that back then.

Yea the comradery that the lable mates had...seemed like a really good basketball team, but eventually titles arent what they all played for, they all did a KG and do it for the money.  Another thing they were well known for, was constantly advertising future projects, keeping us all on our feet. This concept is what ex-inmate Daz Dillinger seems to have kept, as DPG Recordz constantly advertise new albums. I know this is annoying, as half never get/got released, but I still think it was a crucial part of the Row, constant hype for other label mates (See Snoops part in 'The Chronic' etc.)

Alright enuff for now...Deaaaath Roow in this mother fucka right here...!
