Felt, consisting of Murs & Slug, return with "Felt 2: A Tribute to Lisa Bonet". This time paying tribute to the former Cosby cutie, Slug & Murs have brought Ant along to handle the production and cuts. 15 tracks of classic Slug and Murs. The album drops July 12th and can be picked up by clicking here.

Here are 2 tracks for preview, the first one is called "Morris Day" and is taken from the album. The other one is a leftover from the album and it's called "20 Answers". This ishh is knockin' right there!! You know the album's gotta be crazy if this is leftover material.

The album is actually way better than I expected. I'm on track 10 right now and there has been no skippable tracks. I'm gonna have to buy the CD.

EDIT: Even the interludes are great. Slug is hilarious.

I never heard anything about the first one at all. When was it released? Atmosphere does shows every month or so downtown. I'm a little surprised I didn't hear a buzz.

no fuckin' doubt.  I didn't really like the first one, so this one is a MAJOR step up.  Great album!

I haven't heard the album yet, I don't even think his brother has it yet. I'll ask him when I talk to him tomorrow though...I am sure it is some heat.

I gave it a try and downloaded a song but I can't listen to this nerd shit.  I barely got thru the song, Slug is just beyond unlistenable.

Just copped this album tonight, I think it was worth the money, some really crazy tracks on here, "Woman Tonight" alone is worth the money. Dirty Girl and Morris Day are hot too.
