To those who didn't read the first thread, I am going to compile a list of the top 50 west coast rap albums of all time. This here is the voting thread, which means no replies should have any comments about anybody else's lists or anything else. If you have a question, please ask it in the discussion thread.
The rules:
1. List what you feel are the top 20 west coast albums of all time, and make sure to number them from 1-20 best to worst. Do not stress over the rankings...for example, if you really don't know if you want [album A] to be #7 or [Album B] to be #7, it will not effect the overall voting too much. If you really can't list 20, at least try to list 10 or more. If you want to list more than 20, you can do so...however, make sure to number 1-20, and then you can list the rest under "honorable mention." Do not list more than 50 albums in total. I need the albums in order from 1-20 because it will assist me a whole lot when I am ranking the albums on the final list...if I just took votes by each time an album was mentioned, there would be way too many ties.
2. Make sure to put your name, whether nickname or whatever name you want me to call you by, at the top of your list. When I am finished, I will put your name at the bottom of the list, thanking you for your participation.
3. You can list soundtracks that were completely west coast based...such as Murder was the case, Above the rim, Friday, Menace II Society, and Boyz n da hood.
4. Do not list any unreleased albums, advanced albums, or leaked albums.
5. Do not list any greatest hits albums.
6. You can list any 2Pac albums...I had to specify, because some people question if 2Pac is west coast or not. If there are any other questionable artists, PM me and I'll inform you whether or not they will count in this list.
The voting deadline is July 20th, 2005. Please try to submit your lists as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.
