Title: MOTHAFUCKER! My neighbourhood has been flooded (PICS)
Post by: CRAFTY on July 04, 2005, 04:55:48 AM
Ain't this a bitch...I woke up this morning at 5 AM 'cause I heard my neighbours yelling at each other, and when I opened my window, half of my street was already flooded. I knew it rained HEAVILY during the night, but I never thought it'd be like this. I mean...floodings are very rare around here.

All the neighbours helped each other with moving all the important electronic equipment upstairs + moving the furniture..pffffffff...it's a bitch though. Constantly moving shit just to take it downstairs again when it's all over. But hey, what else can you do?

I took a few pics of my neighbourhood:

This is what it looked like at 6 AM:

This is what it looks like right now (1.40 PM):

Here are some other pics:

---> It's still raining though...and the water is about 1.5 inches away from entering our house...even with those fucking sandbags that we laid everywhere around the house. We'll see what happens though...

^yea the neighbourhood looks pretty nice. atleast you got 1 advantage when you live in the projects/big apartment complexes. shit i live on the 5th floor so i really donīt care if itīs get flooded coz the mofos who lives on the first floor are faggost anyway. but thatīs fucked up and i would be surprised as hell if i woke up one morning and looked out the window only to see the whole street flooded.

10 PM right now...and my street has been cleared from all the water. But everyone in the neighbourhood is still worried though, 'cause if it starts raining again tonight, then we're back in the same shit as today. Good news though: the water didn't enter our house...it was fucking close though, unbelievable. My DVD collection was safe upstairs though, lol.

10 PM:

It's a mess though...everybody's garden-decoration has been wiped away. Some of these guys really have nice gardens...I tell you. It's fucked up. Plus, in some houses down the street the water stood at 30 inches inside the house. Their walls & furniture are all fucked up...

You know, the "funny" thing about it is that we had a big heatwave here last week, and everyone was hoping for some rain...lol, how does that saying go? "Be careful what you wish for" eh? ;) Pfffffff...fucked up. I think the weather will lay low though tonight...it really was a storm last night, which is very rare here, so hopefully it'll calm down from now on...

in Sweden during the summer we got the longest days on this planet(literally)and itīs kinda fucked up if you gonna try to go to bed early. but if youīre partying itīs cool coz the sun will still be kinda up when you arrive at the clubs and shit.
