Just got it back today and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I don't think you can tell from the pics but it has a couple of different mats in it that really make the pictures stand out. As usual, all comments are welcomed....

Actually I'm not sure. Have a ton of stuff...gonna start hanging a few things tonight and I'm getting more done next weekend (that's when I can get a good discount), so it'll all start coming together really nicely :)
-
how much does it usually cost you for doing those??? I would like to get some things done like that also...Do you just use posters you find or what??
that is dope though!!!
-
Not just regular posters but anything I can get my hands on involving westcoast hip hop :) I'm hanging a few up on my wall tonight so I'll take some pics of those and post them in a few as well :)
-

Real nice! But you gotta move "The Chronic" to the middle.
-
I envy the original ''Chronic'' and ''Murder Was The Case'' posters you have among your collection. Me want-ee!
Oh, and that's a really cool set-up too!
-
nice, how much does it generally cost to frame the posts, etc.
-
Real nice! But you gotta move "The Chronic" to the middle.
That was my original plan, because it's like the album that started it all for the westcoast, but then my Game one came out to be bigger, so I wanted to put it in the middle and I'll have the 24 x 36's I get done on the sides (just like the Chronic & Murder Was The Case posters). Next Saturday I'm getting done NWA "Straight Outta Compton" poster and one more poster but can't decide yet which other one to do yet.

187Proof, do you have a list of all your posters? I'm really curious to read about what other rarities you have among your collection...
Right now, I'm looking for vintage ''Doggystyle/Doggfather'' era Snoop posters. Not having much success on that front (every site that stocked them naturally sold out a long time ago, and eBay isn't providing much), although I did see the same ''Chronic'' poster featured in your fine display online recently. May have to invest. I wanna get that, and this cool (and huge) 213 poster advertising ''The Hard Way''. If I bough it, I wouldn't sell - although I'm pretty confident that 213 posters will become collector's items in the future.
Anyone know of any good spots online for finding those vintage ''Death Row'' posters besides eBay?

Only place online I've found is ebay...there's been a couple other places w/ a few rarities, but everytime I e-mail them for info about the items I never get a response, so I'm guessing they just quit doin the poster thing....I do have a real big 213 "The Hard Way" poster that you were describing...I think I'll just take pics of the rest of the posters that I have so you can a) see them & b) maybe give me some feedback as to what I should get framed next, etc.

thats tight how u got it blew up, but im not really feelin how it looks in that frame. how much it cost to get a "plaque" made? and what about the frame?
-
That Snoop ''Gin & Juice'' poster is classic. If that was me, I'd have it framed in a second. That, the NWA and the St. Ides ad's are what I would have framed next.
-

I was asking other people's opinion on what they think looks the best & what should be done next....

I didn't actually have it blown up. It's a promotional poster that Sam Goody uses to advertise the album. They were gonna take it down & said I could just have it, so I used it for the frame....all together the frame and having it put together with custom mats and whatnot ended up costing me around $160 or so for this one..that's with a major discount though too since I work at this place, so it gets quite spendy.....
Thanks to everyone for all your opinions!
-
I like the Quik ones best. Def get the NWA, Doggystyle and Eazy ones done
-
Man, I'd frame the St. Ide's poster and the Gin & Juice poster in a second! Those are straight up cool... Then the second Eazy-E one you got, and maybe the Game poster. I'd use the "back side" (with The Game and Dre) of that one since you already have the "Game sitting on rims & tires" -picture on your wall.
-
yea
damn m,ost them are sicc as fuck
id frame up that Gin & Juice, St. Ides, Big Knocs Landin, Eazy-E Impact Of A Legend, Snoop on the Source & the Ghetto Heisman ones. Damn i need to get me some posters
