rince Ital Joe, real name Joe Paquette, sang the reggae vocals on the Peterson-produced album Life in the Streets. Frank and Alex Christensen had already teamed up with Marky Mark who would perform rap vocals but they decided they would need another singer. Andrea Grund brought Joe into the project. Three female leads, namely: Bridget Fogle, Linda Fields and Melina Bruhn, provided the powerful voices for the choruses of the songs.
Joe was born in Dominica, but lived mostly in Los Angeles. He wrote all his own reggae-lyrics for the songs on the album, with references to politics and Dominica as well as co-producing the song Love of a Mother. The album is dedicated to the homeless (hence the title of the album), although the approach of the music and songs is to be inspiring rather than preaching. Joe and Mark went their separate ways after the album.
Sadly on 16 May 2001, Joe Paquette died from injuries sustained in a car accident.

P.S.
I was a fan for real. It's too funny to see sites like Madeniggaz.net writing he was an original Outlaw Immortalz etc.. Or to see people thinking he was a rapper or a gangsta! He was nuthing but a funny guy! Who loved music and life. Too sad he died. R.I.P.

hahahha... i find it funny him being actor after being a pop rapper!
heres a little bio chunk i found...
Maurice Starr recruited Mark and his older brother Donnie to join a new group that he was forming. This group would become the New Kids on the Block, the group that would lead the boy-band phenomenon of the 1990’s. While Donnie was keen about being in the group Mark was not so keen. Mark preferred spending his summer evenings being a teenager rather than in group rehearsals. Within three months of joining Mark decided to quit. While Donnie was disappointed with his brother’s decision, he accepted Mark’s choice and respected him for it.
While New Kids on the Block careered on to mega-stardom, Mark careered onto a life of crime. Mark spent much of his teenage years appearing before magistrates and judges while his brother was touring around the world. When Mark went to jail for committing an assault Donnie promised to work with him on a rap album when he was released. Donnie stuck by his promise, and helped Mark form the group Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. Donnie produced their debut album "Music For The People" which went onto become a number one seller on the U.S. Billboard Charts. The first single "Good Vibrations" was a hit on both sides of the Atlantic in 1991. Mark was now a celebrity. The single "Good Vibrations" would be used as the theme tune for the film "The Mighty Ducks" and for Calvin Klein advertisements which featured Mark as a model.
(btw.. i left school in 1992 (at 16) so u can understand why i can remember this shit)
