Who are some rappers you guys really felt the first time you heard them, and were like damn who is this.
For me some of them would be:
Tray D 21 jumpstreet- I was loving his voice and flow since day one.
Mr. Short Khop My loved ones- Damn I was really feelin him on this song, and couldn't wait for an album. Too bad his album is a bit dissapointing.
E-A-Ski Blast if I have too- I bumped that song so much, totally got me fiendin for a ski album, can't wait for it.
The guys who did the song PFN on daz westside riders vol 1- I love that song and those rappers. Anyone know if they are the same as the PFN group on Daz album cause they don't sound the same.
DJ Quik Dollars and Sense- First heard quik on the mwtc sndtrck and I was like Damn! who is this guy. I used to bump that song soooo much
All frum tha I- Really started feelin them after I heard them on Mack 10's second album and from the gang related sndtrck. Their first album is pretty dope, I have yet to hear the second one. Anyone know if it is good?

First hip hop albums I listened to was the Chronic, and I was hooked on all the DR inmates back in 92. Those guys are all still my favorites.

This verse by Ice Cube. First time I heard it, in '91, off PE's Fear of a Black Planet:
ICE CUBE:
Ice Cube is down with the PE
Now every single bitch wanna see me
Big Daddy is smooth word to muther
Let's check out a flick that exploits the color
Rollin' thru Hollywood late at night
Red and blue lights what a common sight
Pulled to the curb gettin' played like a sucker
Don't fight the power (gunshot) the mother fucker
:o
Damn! It's also the verse that got me into the West Coast. Every other artist has been an acquired taste.

the first rap cd i bought was Doggystyle after seeing What`s my Name on tv.... after that came Regulate...so Snoop and Warren G we`re the first that got me into Hip Hop. So it was obvious i bought all the Death Row albums cause i really liked the music...i heard Dj Quik on Murder was the Case, and i never realized he had a few solo albums, after i found out i bought them all on the same day...I Remember first hearing the Twinz with Eastside LB, i bought the album, that whole album was good, not one bad track...i bumped that for about three years straight. I really miss those days when those albums came out, and you was really blown away by the music...today it`s too much of the same

Everyone from the chronic album is obvious, I meant rappers that were/are not as well known.
