does it really matter from a musical stand point?

Dre'sta - heīs been in YA and prison a gang of times but dunno what heīs done time for
B.G. Knocc Out - heard heīs in the pen for armed robbery or some shit like that
Spider Loc - armed robbery, possession of a deadly weapon
Life(BWS) - initially he was charged with armed robbery but i think they just dropped it to possession of a deadly weapon and heīll be out in 2 months
Big Wy - i think he was in the pen for some gang related shit
Shawn Pen - drug trafficking
Snoop Dogg - for sellin crack
50 Cent - for sellin crack and bein in possession of a firearm
DMX - armed robbery(back in the early 90īs)+ a gang of other shit
all the members of The Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E. - they didnīt say what they were locked up for
C-Murder - for selling crack(in the late 80īs),for murder and attempted murder
MAC - manslaughter
Soulja Slim - armed robbery and heroin possession
Fiend - aggravated assault
Pimp C- think heīs locked up for assault with a deadly weapom

man i could go on and on coz thereīs so many rappers out there whoīs been locked up before they got on with this rap shit but it doesnīt really matter coz it doesnīt make their music better so whatever.

I think i read somewhere that he didnt actually do it but they used examples of his lyrics as "proof" that he was capable of it.

^X-Raided is in jail for a gang related murder so i donīt think he raped and killed an old lady. and he dissed rapists pretty hard in his WWC interview. from what i heard about his case he just went up in someoneīs home and killed them. but thereīs another person serving time for the exact same crime and according to the cases it wasnīt 2 people involved so they might have to release X if another person has been found guilty of what heīs locked up for.

yea somethin like that. ive heard plenty of weird ass stories about the murder he commited. but he said something about getting released anytime before christmas. south sac is about to get fucking crazy once he gets out

yeah x is claiming his innocence, if he did do it, he deserves to be in, but if he didnt, he should be free and suing the fuck outta the government 4 false imprisonment

here's the story:

X-Raided and his homies went to a rival gang members home
they busted in the door, opened fire and "someone" hit the guys mother and killed her
the person blamed for it was X-Raided, he said he didn't do, but is found "Guilty"
he got 31 years in prison and he has been in jail since late 1992 or somethin
he may not have done THAT one, but I'd bet my life that he's committed some murders other than that  :o
fool didn't rape anybody....  ::)  whoever thinks that is an idiot
in an interview he said "niggaz get killed up in prison for raping girls"
he might be gettin out soon but who knows, he needs to get out and eat everyone up cuz he's better than 95% of all rappers

it doesnt matter anyway, a rapper can claim to have been locked up and they went to minimum security... it isnt difficult to get locked up ya know ?

spice 1 went to jail in 97' for possession of a gun after being pulled over.....and suga free did two years ...for slapping a bitch...but i aint to sure ....anybody know if e-40 ever did any jail time?

Slick Rick was in prison for manslaughter and he was also detained for 18 months by the INS, then released.
There was an old school rapper named Steady B from Philly I think who was robbing banks.
Ras Kass was in prison for a 3rd DUI I believe.
